Enjoy a peaceful getaway in this lovely and modern home on crystal clear Beech Hill Pond. Situated on a half-acre of green lawn that slopes gently to the shore, this four bedroom, two full baths, and a half bath provides lots of space and comfort for everyone. The beautiful dining room and large kitchen, equipped with quality appliances and many gadgets, are a great setting to prep and enjoy meals together. The living room, with its stunning gas fireplace, will provide an ambiance that will melt all your stress away. The lowermost floor is a very private in-law apartment with its own bathroom, entertainment center and wet bar with refrigerator and ice maker. There are 3 bedrooms and a full bath on the 2nd floor. The half bath is on the main floor near the kitchen. The lovely 32’ deck, equipped with a gas grill AND real charcoal grill, is the perfect spot to enjoy the incredible views of the lake. You and your loved ones will enjoy stunning sunsets and sunrises on the wicker furniture around the gas fireplace on the deck or perhaps while lying in the hammock at the water's edge. Listen to the loons call as you enjoy a morning cup of coffee or your favorite evening beverage. Lastly, you will create the most incredible memories around the large natural granite fire pit near the water’s edge. Make s’mores with your little ones, or just sit around the fire pit memorializing an amazing trip.

Great Getaway

This property was wonderful for our long weekend getaway! We were able to kayak on the lake and travel into Bar Harbor for more adventures. Very clean and spacious! Highly recommend!

Lovely stay in Otis, Me

Loved staying at this house in Otis, ME. The house had everything we needed. We even used the fireplace and fire pit as it started to get cold. We were close enough to bar harbor and Acadia to visit but able to come back to the house to enjoy it and the lake.

Beautiful property in Otis

We had a wonderful vacation, enjoying the quiet clear water at the lake house. The house was beautiful, we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening using the gas fire pit. A liquid measuring cup would be useful. My 84 year old mother enjoyed relaxing, reading, and doing puzzles. Thank you for sharing your home with our family.

Beech Hill Pond

This property had everything we hoped for. There are three bedrooms and a large bathroom on the top floor, and each bedroom is set up with its own flat screen TV. The bathroom easily accommodates everyone. In the basement there is a "suite", consisting of a large bedroom with closet and wardrobe, a full size refrigerator/freezer, a sink and counter top, plus a large flat screen TV. The attached bathroom is large enough for a couple, and there is a separate entrance to the back yard. The living room and dining room are nicely furnished, plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. There is a large deck off of the living room, with a gas grill, and a fire pit run with propane. The backyard is large, grassy, with several shade trees, a hammock and kayak. There is a large wood fire pit right by the lake, with six Adirondack chairs. It was lovely! There are two entries/access points to the lake. One is an aluminum ramp and dock area and the other is a set of three steps down into the water. The lake is clear and inviting. Contact with the property owner was easy, and response was very fast. The Otis General Store is close, and the people that work there are friendly and very accommodating. They make great burgers, pizza and other yummy items to order. We loved it! My husband, daughter and son-in-law enjoyed the quiet, and sitting by the fire pit (either on the balcony or by the lake) made it really special. We all had a great week.

Practically lived in the lake

We had the best time relaxing and playing in the lake. Beech Hill pond is a beautiful clear lake. The kids loved the aqua lily pad float and we made use of the boats. Loved sitting on the deck under the awning with my coffee and wine. There was plenty of space for our two families.

I am an active man who enjoys all outdoor activities. My family and I love the water and spend much of our summer days enjoying our boat, hiking in Acadia and enjoying the peace and quiet of the lake.

I couldn't resist the beauty and cleanliness of this lake. The house is so well built and has everything we need to be happy and comfortable. This is a quality home with a gently sloping lawn to the water's edge allowing everyone to enjoy the lake.

What makes this property unique

Our home has everything we need to find peace and happiness. The home is spacious and provides privacy for everyone. We love the water and the surrounding trails where we search for unique rocks and pick wild blueberries.
