Sweet spot

Clean, cozy, comfortable. Christine was very helpful. Mellow location. Fun gardens to spend time in right across the driveway. Nice park down the street.

Quiet, Secure, Comfortable, and Unique Stay at a Working Winery near a small French Village

I booked this home for my family of four (parents and two 19-year olds) hoping to find a quiet and safe place near the medieval village of Carcassonne. We were not planning to spend much time at our rental unit, but after checking in, I wish that I had planned a longer stay. Our host was charming, helpful, and very conscientious. The room was extremely quiet, clean, and comfortable. In the morning, while my family slept, I walked into the sleepy town of Pennetier (about a 5-minute walk). It was fun to see a French village come to life while I enjoyed a coffee and croissant in a small cafe. Before leaving, I purchased a couple of bottles of wine from the owner and can't wait to try them!

Lovely two bedroom Gite in a small village near Carcassonne.

Totally loved the Gite and the surrounding gardens and wine Cave on the property. Owner was very helpful with coffee making items on hand. Short walk into the village for an early morning visit to the bakery and small grocery store. La Cite, the medieval fortress adjacent to Carcassonne is truly a site to visit in southern France.

Immer wieder gern! Uns hat es in der Gegend und in der Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen. Mit dem Auto ca.10-15 min bis nach Carcassonne entfernt, das war für uns wichtig.
