In a Marseille-style building, this is a new, modern apartment, fully parqueted and high-ceilinged, which offers a sober and elegant decoration. Three large double glazed windows make this apartment very bright. The whole is air conditioned as well as the bedroom which includes two single beds or a double bed in 180 of excellent quality. Bathroom with heated towel rail, wardrobe, cupboards, shower, bath and WC. The apartment is quiet in a small building (large entrance, wide wrought iron staircase with tomettes) of only 4 apartments. Its ideal location in the city center gives you access to pedestrian areas at 30 m, shops and a large daily market at 100 m. It is located in a small, low-traffic street with parking spaces, otherwise a public paid car park is accessible 24/24 at 150 m.

Nice apartment

We were very impressed with Ms. Zelmat, the property manager. She lives close by and was very nice and helpful. The lobby in the building needs some attention. Of course it is old, but no one is maintaining it or cleaning it. There was an old washing machine and flattened boxes in it for most of our stay. There are 2 flights of stairs with a total of 50 stairs, so this apartment is not for anyone faint of heart or disabled. The apartment is new, with a modern kitchen and bath, which are both very nice. The bed is OK, but they should invest in new pillows. They seem old and are very lumpy. The living room is small, but adequate. Unfortunately neither the sofa nor the chair were comfortable to sit on. The location is pretty good. You can be at the waterfront in 10 minutes, where there are numerous restaurants and activities. It is also about a 10 minute walk to the metro, which is one stop away from the main train station. We took day trips to Arles and Aix en Provence while using this apartment as our hub.

Lovely Stay

My wife and I stayed here a week and were very happy! The apartment is clean, spacious and walking distance to many sights, shops and restaurants. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The only complaint is the pillows are not the best.

Great place to stay in the heart of everything. Very quiet with windows closed and ac on. Terrific.

Awesome apartment with the best ac in Marseille. Good location. Close to Port, subway, lots of restaurants and open market. Property manager could not have been nicer. If it had a lift for luggage I would have given 5 stars. Otherwise everything else was great.

In the heart of Marseille

The appartment is centrally located - only a short walk to the „vieux port“ - you really dont need a car! Though rather small, it is completely and well equipped. We did not miss anything. We especially appreciated, that a wi-fi was on hand. There is one exeption: What my wife actually desparately missed was an adequate mirror: the bathroom has no daylight and is relatively dark. So she had real problems to apply her make-up. Ms. Chenard: you should consider to hang up a big (whole-body) mirror at the wall on the left-hand side of the entry door. This could easily solve the discribed problems. Moreover people with constrained mobility should consider, that only 44 steep and exhaustig steps lead to the 2nd floor! As to the rest, I would thank Ms. Chenard for sendig us complete and helpful information on the city and the touristic highlights Marseille offers to its visitors; and also thank Ms. Zelmat for the kind welcome and the flexible help she offered us during our stay!

Nettes kleines Appartement mit sehr zentraler Lage

Die Unterkunft war mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt, der Empfang sehr freundlich. Besonders gut hat uns die Lage ganz in der Nähe des Hafens, von Geschäften und Restaurants und Bars gefallen.
