Charming house in an old farmhouse 18th
With a south and west view over Salers one of the most beautiful villages in France, we rent a family house located in the immediate vicinity of the heart of the city. The whole, surrounded by 2 sunny gardens, with dry stone walls, includes:
- Ground Garden: Large reception room with friends, summer kitchen, entrance hall, SPA (Jacuzzi, Sauna, Shower, WC).
- 1st floor: living room (dining room and TV lounge open to kitchen overlooking a sheltered terrace and garden grass, independent toilet, games room, bedroom with private bathroom, TV ...)
- 2nd floor: 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms (walk-in shower, WC ...)
- All rooms include a large bed 160 * 200, a tv, a bathroom or water with walk-in shower, hair dryer, ...); the bed of two of the four bedrooms can be separated into twin beds.
- The 2 kitchens are equipped; the rental has a washing machine, dryer, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators, including an "American", 2 ovens and 2 induction hobs
- The house has a WIFI access, a DVD player, a HIFI system with I-pod player.
- The Spa corner is equipped with a Jacuzzi, a Sauna and a shower.
- Parking is easy, and possibility of closed garage on request (2 cars).

The house is in Salers, near the old town, on short hikes, joining the GR 400 (3h walk, 15 mn by car)

Pets are accepted with the agreement of the owner.

The rental is per week during the school holidays, from Saturday 17h to the following Saturday 10h.
The arrival is scheduled for 17h, the day of departure, the time of handing the keys is at 10am.
The rental includes cleaning, linen (beds made on arrival), and towels are provided.
Central heating, water, electricity, WIFI are included in the price.

On periods outside school holidays and, it is possible to rent the farmhouse from 2 days for flexible periods.

Excellent séjour
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour en famille dans cette belle et vaste longère récemment rénovée. La propreté est irréprochable, l'emplacement idéal (juste au-dessus du village, avec vue et commerces à 3 minutes à pied), les chambres sont toutes équipées de leurs propres sanitaires et l'équipement est exhaustif. Une de nos meilleures locations à ce jour ! A noter: un chèque de caution de 500 euros est demandé à l'arrivée.

Gîte spacieux et calme
Bon séjour dans cette belle vieille maison très bien équipée, avec le charme du parquet craquant et de la vaisselle ancienne et des bibelots ornant les pièces. Le jacuzzi et le sauna ont été très appréciés surtout les jours pluvieux. N'étant pas fait à l'entrée dans les lieux, il serait souhaitable qu'un inventaire soit affiché par pièce, ce qui éviterait tout différend après départ. Il est aussi dommage que le propriétaire ne maintienne pas son bien dans un état digne de cette demeure, jardin non entretenu, barre de volet à refixer. Accueil très convivial et chaleureux de M. et Mme Mulatier.

superbe maison et séjour très agréable
Maison très chaleureuse et bien équipée. Elle est très bien située, à l'extérieur de Salers mais néanmoins très près du centre du village et des animations. Il y a de nombreuses randonnées dans les alentours. Nous y avons passé une excellente semaine en famille. Mme Muriel Mulatier qui s'occupe de la gestion de la maison est charmante et accueillante.

What makes this property unique

This charming house has belonged to the same family since it was built in the 18th century. It has just been completely renovated while remaining authentic using Auvergne materials. The family's antique furniture in the house is very comfortable. The gardens allow for resting, while taking advantage of the quiet and the view of Salers, the surrounding valleys and the Cantal Mounts. Food shopping can be done by foot in the Renaissance city: on Wednesdays, the market is in the Tyssandier d'Escous square.
Sport activities, cultural tours, and gourmet cuisine are easily accessed by foot or car (close by)...
