THE STUDIO :
In the residence "Mont Vernon Hotel" on the island of Saint Martin, let yourself be charmed by this beautiful design studio of 45 m² with terrace, refurbished by a decorator. This "front line" studio is on the 1st floor of the Aruba building (level access), which offers stunning views of the sea and the beach of Orient Bay. Ideal for a quiet and peaceful holiday.
The studio features a "night" area with a large bed, a "living room" area, which opens onto the terrace, a kitchen and a separate bathroom.
This accommodation is fully equipped for your comfort:
- Kitchen: fridge / freezer, hob, microwave oven, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, crockery and kitchen utensils, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
- The bathroom with walk-in shower, 2 sinks, toilet.
- The bed "king size" (200x200) + sofa bed "queen" (bed 160), safe, bed linen, towels and beach towels.
- Air conditioning, wireless internet, TV.
- In the studio, two chairs and an umbrella are also available to our guests.
Someone will take care of travelers on arrival and departure or in case of need during the stay.

THE RESIDENCE AND THE BEACH OF THE EASTERN BAY
In the residence, you will have access to a large and pleasant secure pool situated only 50 meters from the building. The poolside loungers are available to residents. From the pool, a gate gives you direct access to the beach at Orient Bay.
For the calm and serenity of all, the residence is entirely pedestrian and also has 2 tennis courts, two secure car parks, a supermarket and a laundry service.
The residence is adjacent to the beach at Orient Bay, a beautiful beach 3 km. The beach has three parts: a wild and very quiet part (near the residence), some with restaurants, and a naturist beach at the other end. The naturist part remains accessible to all and is not exclusive, it is one of the most beautiful spots in St. Martin. When you swim, you will feel like in the postcard!
The many dining options to suit all budgets and mainly open for lunch (and some evenings) also offer sunbeds by the day. Furthermore, a wide range of water activities and entertainment are sure to entertain young and old.

However, it is highly recommended to have a rental car for short trips (shopping, outings day or evening).

Best Location on St. Martin

Located on the far North end of Orient Beach, this apartment is the perfect spot for anyone who wants access to the beach, a safe secure location and quiet nights to enjoy.

Nice place

The resort is nice, constant construction from the hurricane. The unit we stayed in was nice, no pool, the roof was being replaced so it was constant construction. Probably won’t stay there again.

Excellent Mont Vernon condo !

The entire Mont Vernon property is an older former hotel/apartment building complex that was devastated by Hurricane Irma in Sept 2017. That being said, potential guests considering Mont Vernon need to keep in mind the entire property is undergoing massive reconstruction and improvements daily. Several buildings are actively being restored. The pool, parking lot, and tennis courts are all in various stages of repair (or not) currently. However, let it be known that this particular unit is fantastic from the standpoint of view, ammenties & comfort!! If the guest can “deal with” and overlook the rehabilitation of Mont Vernon on the outside of the units, then this is an ideal property to consider for a wonderful beach vacation at Orient Beach! The view from the unit is spectacular & the property manager (Didier) was gracious & accomodating to us for the entire stay. Again, potential guests need to be aware of the ongoing construction outside many of the building units during the day. If that’s not an issue, then this is the perfect getaway for a relaxing beach vacation at Orient Beach!

Overall a good experience, can't beat the view!

First of all, Mont Vernon was hit extremely hard by hurricane Irma in 2017 and is still in the process of recovery. Construction was ongoing during our stay as some buildings are still completely uninhabitable. It was a little frustrating initially trying to find the unit until we discovered a map on the wall in the old lobby. This particular unit was in good condition. Only issues we had were some mold in the shower and a kitchen cabinet that had not been cleaned properly. The representative who met us prior to leaving indicated the previous tenant had been there for 3 weeks and the cleaning lady must have just missed those issues. THE VIEW FROM THE UNIT IS OUTSTANDING!! We thoroughly enjoyed opening the curtain and metal security awning each morning to see the sun rising over the ocean. Having our morning coffee as well as a cold drink in the evening on the balcony was extremely enjoyable. The king size bed was very firm but we both prefer a firm bed so that was fine with us. Wifi worked well during our stay. The tv has approximately 15 channels, 2 that were in English... ESPN and one other channel. We brought our Roku and could watch Netflix but most other streaming services would not work because we were outside of the United States. The AC worked well and there is a safe in the closet for valuables. Parking is something of an issue. There is some parking available up near the old lobby area but often there were no empty spaces. There is a large dirt parking lot available but it has huge ruts and potholes.. not sure how easy it would be to traverse especially after a good rain... so we declined to park there and chose to park instead on the side of the street coming into the resort approximately 300-400 yards away. If you have any mobility issues, you might want to avoid staying at Mont Vernon. In addition to the parking issue, the grounds are very hilly and require a lot of up and downhill walking and use of steps. In most areas there are no handrails to assist in climbing or descending these steps. There are a couple of rechargable flashlights in the unit that you might want to utilize if you go out at night as landscape lighting is mostly still inoperable. Be mindful when walking in grassy areas off the concrete walkways as a lot of people have pets and apparently many don't pick up after them. We ate at Mont Vernon pizza once which is located on the property and it was very good! The pool is still not repaired and is not in use.

Un séjour merveilleux

Très bon emplacement, vue mer magnifique, logement parfaitement équipé. Côte sauvage et tranquille, mer agitée. Très bon endroit de repos. Juste une précision, peu compatible avec les mobilités réduites.
