About this property

Enjoy a guest room in the atmosphere of a very original architect Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired home. With its triangular windows, independent room in the house is located in a spacious garden of 700 m2 planted with magnificent bamboo. You can look at leisure birds in their feeders and sleeping in nature silently in central Paris. In summer, the room extends to a terrace where you can enjoy breakfast. Fully independent with a shower and toilet, it has its own entrance into the garden. Located in the metro Picpus, 5 minutes walk from the Nation, you will enjoy a transport network that will allow you to reach the main sights of Paris in minutes (subway lines 1, 2, 6, 9, and the RER A provides direct access Disneyland Paris or Versailles).

Safe, secure in Picpus

Just steps from Picpus metro station, easy to connect anywhere in Paris. Unique property. Very helpful and pleasant Host. Read description. Perfect for solo traveler like me!

Peaceful Paris

The location of the Bamboo House was easy to use as a springboard to see the typical sights of Paris. And it provided a very peaceful place to rest when done with the hustle and bustle. The owner, Pierre, was very easy to communicate with and provided everything we needed to be comfortable. Thank you so much for hosting your home.

Unique Zen Garden Studio 100 yards from the Metro

Pierre-Yves is a wonderful Host. You will be his only Guest(s) and he will take good care of you. His Garden Studio is very cozy and he will join you as he serves breakfast, a very kind man. Pierre also was able to accommodate our early check-in time, or will take care of your luggage until he can. The Picpus Metro station is just steps away bringing the whole of Paris within reach in just minutes. We would definitely stay with Pierre if we return to Paris in the future. Just be aware that this studio has a “wet head”. If you are a boater like us, you would know this expression. This studio is most suitable for the casual, adventurous, bohemian patrons of any age amongst us.

Felt like home in the first 24 hours ..We had a longish stay ..Pierre is a fantastic host !!

Pierre made us feel at home at once .. Was most accommodating with baggage etc Is very very helpful .. And the property made us feel we were not in the heart of Paris ..but in garden resort !

A little serenity...

Our stay was very nice. Pierre was the perfect host! He made us feel so welcome and even enjoyed breakfast with us, which was so nice to sit and talk with him and learn a little bit about France. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much!
