Located in the heart of the peninsula, 10 minutes' walk from Lyon Perrache train station, a stone's throw from Ainay Abbey, close to shops and the metro, on the third floor without elevator, in the interior courtyard from a 19th century building, this atypical, calm and bright apartment will welcome you for a tourist or professional stay.
In a living room you will find the fitted kitchen, the dining area and the lounge area.
Three closed alcoves, glazed to keep the daylight and equipped with blackout curtains to be able to isolate you, are installed in the bedrooms: the first at the level of the living room equipped with a 140X200 bed and the other two, on the mezzanine, equipped each of a 90X190 bed.

Great apartment for family of four

This is a great apartment in a quiet part of the peninsula. It is located conveniently close to the Victor Hugo metro stop on line A. The apartment is up three flights of stairs and looks onto a large quiet courtyard. The space is cleverly used with three separate bedrooms with two up in a sleeping loft accessed by a stairway. The kitchen is nicely situated off of the main room and has the essentials. We were happy to have the dishwasher as we ate in frequently. The bathroom has a nice sized shower and small washing machine tucked under the sink. There is a market and bakery just down the street which was very convenient for our family. We had excellent communication with our host throughout which made everything very easy and efficient. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we would certainly stay again in the future.

Apartment is nice but hosts have not returned unofficial security deposit they made us pay.

The hosts required us to pay a cash security deposit other than the money paid on the homeaway website, but are refusing to respond to requests for the security deposit back.

Charming apartment tastefully renovated

The property is well located being a short walk to Ampere Victor Hugo metro station which gets you to the centre in a couple of stops. You can also walk to Place Bellecour and across to the old town (an all day pass costing E5.50 allows unlimited use of all public transport, a real bargain). We really appreciated the warm welcome from Therese with chocolates on the table, bottled water and maps and other tourist info provided by her to give our visit a flying start. The kitchen is well equipped but compact like most European apartments. The apartment was very clean, quiet, warm and the beds comfortable. Wifi was very fast. The mezzanine has been cleverly squeezed into what is a very high floor to ceiling height but tall people might be challenged. Also be aware that the apartment is on the 3rd floor and you have to carry your baggage up a spiral staircase. The roman museum and theatres over at Fourviere are worth a look. Take the funicular up and walk down.

Excellent Apartment in Lyon center

Definitely recommend this apartment! We had an amazing stay for the last 6 months. Therese and Roger were very kind hosts and always were there to help us with anything we asked them. The apartment is very cozy and well equipped, the WIFI worked always and we didn't have any problems at all. The apartment was very bright all day long because of the big windows that illuminated all the place, it was really great. The only thing I could say is that the apartment is in a 3rd floor without elevator, but it didn't concern us that much, it was totally worth the stay! If we were to go back to Lyon, we would definitely come back again to this beautiful apartment. The location was great, near a velov station and a walking distance to the metro station. It is also very near Perrache and as well to Bellcour, if you walk a few more blocks. We were three girls and fitted perfectly. We had a wonderful stay in this apartment! Lyon was amazing and we sure hope to be back some day.
