About this property

The Lagar de Azeite is part of an old farmhouse of 100 years - ideal for a unique stay in the idyllic and peaceful countryside in the Algarve. The Lagar de Azeite is surrounded by a large 2000m² garden with olive and carob trees.

This former oil & wine warehouse can accommodate ideally 2 people (4max). Completely separate from the main house, the Lagar de Azeite is a rustic loft. Living room, kitchen and shower room are located on the ground floor. An open staircase takes you to the spacious bedroom upstairs where you have a view on the countryside.

The Lagar de Azeite is located 20min drive from the sea and 20min drive from Faro airport.
Sotavento, eastern side of the Algarve, is still very authentic and traditions are still alive. Peral (São Brás de Alportel) is the ideal base for visiting Faro, Estoi, Olhão, Loulé and Tavira. There is a wealth of unspoiled beaches on the islands Fuzeta, Faro, Culatra, Tavira, Armona, or the 'posh' beach resorts Vale do Lobo and Quinta de Lago near Loulé.

Throughout the year there are various cultural activities in the Algarve resorts, such as concerts outdoors, artisan markets, exhibitions of contemporary art in unusual locations, and many more.

Gorgeous space with lots of charm!

This was a great space — peaceful and quiet, just what we wanted. But still only within 10 minutes drive to a variety of restaurants, and a great base from which to explore the Algarve. Our host Felipe was welcoming, helpful, and accommodating despite our severely delayed flight. A couple of cats hung out with us on the deck everyday — a great way to make us feel at home!

One of a kind, charming, serene and private farm house. We loved it!

We loved staying at this sweet remodeled farm house. The interior was so comfortable and had everything we needed. There were comfortable sitting areas outside to enjoy our morning coffee and to look at the stars in the evenings. It was so lovely being surrounded by olive trees. Philippe greeted us when we arrived and provided excellent advice and directions to local restaurants, beaches and communities to visit. The location was perfect for exploring Faro and Tavira. People were friendly and helpful wherever we went. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Großartige Lage

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön gelegen, fernab vom Trubel. Es liegt in einem wunderbar gepflegtem Garten. Die Gestaltung des Hauses ist geschmackvoll. Die Ausstattung (Küche) könnte etwas komfortabler sein. Auch bei kühleren Temperaturen kann man sich dank des Pelletofens im Haus aufhalten. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und äußerst zuvorkommend.

Wunderschön und romantisch - auch im Winter eine Reise wert

Tolles Design kombiniert mit historischem Altbau. Wir hatten während unseres Winterurlaubs Glück mit dem Wetter - häufig um die 17 Grad und Sonnenschein. Es gibt eine sehr gute Pellet-Heizung und der Gastgeber hat stets für Nachschub gesorgt. Aufgrund der Raumgröße ist es bei kühleren Temperaturen oder schlechtem Wetter eventuell etwas frisch, wenn man den ganzen Tag in der Unterkunft verbringen möchte. Viele Wanderungen direkt vor der Haustür. Sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber.

Total schönes Feriendomizil

Angenehm, ruhig, entspannt, das Haus war liebevoll eingerichtet, alles Notwendige war vorhanden, das ganze Ambiente war sehr angenehm, der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut, schöne zentrale Lage, um alle interessanten Orte an der östlichen Algarve zu erreichen. Es hat uns total gut gefallen.
