The charm of Provence and the authenticity of stone, for this 8-person gîte in the south-west part of an old farmhouse just 2 km from the village of Banon. Holidays far from noise and pollution, with cicadas for neighbors. The 9 m x 4.5 m above-ground swimming pool, located on an open area at the back of the building, provides a place for swimming and relaxation for all holidaymakers in the house. The deckchairs are arranged in the shade of the trees and around the swimming pool, making this space ideal for lazing around. We enjoy a view of the surrounding nature. The garden opens onto the countryside, and a private space is allocated to each accommodation so that everyone can enjoy this corner of paradise. The 100m2 accommodation in the main part of the house is spread over two levels. It is reached by a large raised covered terrace overlooking a private courtyard surrounded by stone walls. This set rebuilt during the renovation gives all its character and originality to the house. The large kitchen which communicates with the terrace through a vaulted door, is fully equipped and allows you to try Provencal gastronomy. The rest of the house consists of a beautiful living room with two sofas facing the wood stove which we appreciate in winter, and 3 bedrooms (two of which are upstairs). A bathroom and a WC on each floor.
When you are rested, you will have the pleasure of exploring the surroundings:
on foot, many paths start from the house, they bear the names of the villages they join;
by bike to discover the gorges and hilltop villages typical of Haute-Provence;
or by car to push to the Verdon gorges, Sainte-Croix lake, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Avignon or Aix-En-Provence and many other nuggets that dot the region.
The region is rich in places to discover, whether natural or man-made, secret or popular.
