This is one of the nicest holiday I ever stayed at. It's a free standing house with a garden and fence all around, so ideal for kids to play or to sit in front or behind the house and enjoy the mountain scenery. Inside the house is completely remodeled in a tasteful fashion, with comfy beds, nice furniture and good lighting. Air-conditioning units in the living room and in the remarkably wide corridor keep all rooms cool, as do the the thick done walls and excellent blind out shutters. The kitchen is very well equipped. The only minus is that the town of Francardu has no shops or restaurants, so you need to drive 10 mins to Points Lecchia or Corte for that. I would definitely stay here again during a futurr visit to Corsica. It's a perfect base for walks in the green and mountainous centre of the island and for easy day trips to the northern and eastern coast.
