A 5 night stay for R& R
We loved this Gite, we arrived late in the afternoon without knowing that our booking was the next day, we had booked enroute and as same day it was switched to the following, day
The lovely owners let us in , we all spoke to each other in sign language and a few words and we felt very welcome
The Gite was perfect s we arrived after a long drive from Brittany , it was 40+C and although the Gite did not have(, nor did we expect) air conditioning the home stayed cool the whole time we were there
As it was too hot to sleep upstairs we slept on the sofa bed downstairs , at the owners suggestion , and slept well each night
We loved this little village , no shops but friendly people , a beautiful church, and a place we loved being in
Not far to next villages for food and we loved tracking down the twisted steeple churches in the surrounding towns and the many wonderful washing places
As the weather cooled we moved upstairs and loved the space , views from window of the back garden and church
Interaction with the owners was wonderful and they brought us a number of gifts , we thank you
If you are looking for a peaceful week and don’t mind lack of facilities eg restaurants , this is a perfect place
