2023 was a great year for us and I want to thank all our guest for choosing Beach Happy and taking such good care of the house, we had 100% 5 star guest !!! Avon was first called Kinnakeet, the first settlers were Algonquian Indians, the Post Office in 1883 changed the name to Avon, do not know why! Beach Happy is a semi-ocean front property located on the secluded North End of Avon, NC. Beach Happy offers perfect 360° views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Pamlico Sound. The ground level of the property offers covered parking, capable of fitting more than four vehicles under the house. Additionally, the property offers an outdoor shower, fish cleaning table, and park grill on the grounds. Beach Happy is 2 stories, sitting over 20 feet off the ground. The first floor houses four bedrooms, each having access to a full bathroom. The second floor houses the living quarters of the home, providing a kitchen, bar seating, kitchen table, dining table, living room, sitting room, and playroom. Both floors provide wrap around decks, offering views of both the ocean and sound at each level, with ample seating and outdoor furniture on both floors. The playroom is stocked with books and games for children of all ages, including a foosball table. Beach Happy is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, with a beach access ramp only thirty feet from the property. Finally, Beach Happy is situated close to popular wind surfing locations, shopping, restaurants, and other water excursion destinations. Book now! No pets. Check in is 4 PM Check out is 9 AM. Wonderful week-long stay at Beach Happy

We had a fantastic time staying at this property. I was close to the ocean and close to the sound, and the spot was very quiet. The house had everything we needed, particularly in the kitchen. I really liked the decor. A lot of times, rental homes will either have very few decorations or lots of things that you would not want to look at, but if I were buying this house I would want all the decorations to convey with the sale. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was conveniently located on an upper level outdoor porch. We would happily stay here again.

Beautiful Home, Terrible weather

The house was as expected and has all the comfort as expected. Weather on the other hand was as bad as it gets (save a hurricane) which made the house accommodations even more relevant and the house delivered

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful time at Beach Happy, and a great experience thanks to Brenda! She was able to provide guidance when bad weather came in, and we were able to leave early due to the approaching tropical storm. The only issue I might state was raised nails/screws on deck surfaces made my mama heart worried for my daughter to play outside without shoes. Otherwise, everything was truly perfect, wonderful amenities, quick, easy walk down to the beach, access to shopping, restaurants, and groceries within 5 mins from the house. We definitely plan to visit the area again, and would recommend Beach Happy to anyone looking in the area.
