My family vacations somewhere along the Emerald Coast every year. It was unanimous among the group this was our favorite thus far. The unit was extremely clean, had the space we needed, and was only steps from the pool and beautiful beach. The Southern Vacation Rentals people went above and beyond. They helped answer any questions we had in a super timely manner and helped us obtain an extra parking pass for an elderly member of our party. It was a quiet area ,which we loved, yet only minutes from Destin for when we wanted more entertainment! Thanks for making it one of our best FL trips yet!

What a Disappointment!!!!
The unit looked like the pictures but the lack of cleanliness affected the overall ambiance. The management company never returned to address our concerns and Southern Realty was more concerned with passing the “buck” than really addressing our needs or providing concessions for the inconvenience we endured. The blinds in the bedrooms were dusty and did not close which is problematic because the unit is on the ground floor. One of the outdoor lounge chair was broken. The wall tiles were falling off the walls in the living room and dining area, the master bedroom shower was filled with mold and mildew, the closet in the master bedroom was musty and the bedding had remnants of the previous guests throughout including a soiled bed skirt, and skin and hair on the mattress pad. We were very disappointed and have used this organization for our previous visits along with other family members. We will not use them again or recommend them to anyone else!!!

We do feel it is appropriate to mention that we visited the condo multiple times to address your concerns in the master bedroom and bathroom but someone was always napping in the room and we were asked to return at another time. We would love the opportunity to see you again in the future and to show you a stay that meets our true standard.

Great vacation rental
Just as advertised but better. It was spacious and beautifully renovated, well stocked, comfortable, steps from the beach with easy access to shopping, dining and activities. It made for a perfect vacation.

Best location and loved the decor
We had a great stay and enjoyed every moment. The only thing we wished different would be having some staples like salt and pepper or paper towels or coffee filters available. It was hard traveling in from out of state and having to run and get these things in multiple trips. Overall we loved our stay and would gladly return and use this rental again!

Stay could have been better
I really appreciate the prompt action that the team provided for any issues we had but it could have been avoided. we had the below issues with our stay
1. As soon as we walked into the apartment the main door lock broke on us. The reason was we kept the door open as we were moving the luggage in and the auto lock mechanism made the door lock. which on a really windy day caused the door to close with force and knock the lock out of its place. looking at the door it looked like it has happened multiple times. I had to wait for 20-25 mins on the call to connect to the helpline person to ask someone to come and fix it. The repair person tried to disable the autolock and could not make it work.
2. The AC unit was really loud and close to bunk beds and two bedrooms. It made loud noise thorough out the night and we had to ultimately shut it off.
We put in a complaint about it too. The AC is also not balanced .. the master bedroom was getting really cold while the main hall was warm. We had to sleep with the main bedroom door open all night, after our first night's experience.
As a side note it will be good to display some instructions in the apartment on where to dispose trash, leave wet towels
We were not sure where to throw the trash so we went to a common trash disposal bin a mile from the hotel and threw it there. the apart mentioned trash chute which we could not find.

The deadbolt was damaged when it slammed and thankfully we were able to quickly repair it. We also checked the AC while you were in town and did not find an issue with it and unfortunately we have not been able to recreate the issue. However we can happily report that no other guests have had any issues with it! We hope to see you again in the future!
