Fall Getaway
Waverly Lodge is beautiful. Plenty of room for our 2 families that stayed. Grandkids loved the games. Hot tub was a real plus. Would stay there again.
Tree house
It's very nice house
Cabin in the woods
We all loved this quaint cabin in the woods. It had all the amenities we needed to make our family vacation a huge success-fire pit, hot tub, skee ball, pool table, gas logs for cool mornings, large dining table that seated everyone, and well equipped kitchen. It is located very close to lots of activities for all family members, but still sits amid the trees to give a great mountain feeling. We had enough sleeping quarters for everyone, with some to spare. The only complaint we had was the downstairs queen mattress, which seemed to be well, overused and tended to sink in the middle. Overall, we had a great experience!! Thank you, Fergusons, for a wonderful family vacation spot!!
Our family had a great time!
The first thing everybody said when they walked in was "WOW, this is gorgeous!" Everything was perfect and a diverse group all had a wonderful time.
Great trip for 3 generations of our family
Beautiful, friendly town between Asheville and Bryson City. So much to do... horseback riding, zip lining, tubing, berry picking, Biltmore Estate, rafting, golf, gem mining, elk watching and so much more. Lodge was lovely and the kitchen is so well equipped. Loved coming back from a busy day to the hot tub, fire pit and s'mores. Very comfortable for the 11 of us. Great experience, great memories! Highly recommend.
Overall great time
The location was perfect. Being in the mountains was a wonderful time and really added some charm. One of our favorite parts was how it combined technology with rustic elements one would expect in a place like this. It rained a lot while we were there but we still found a way to enjoy ourselves and have fun (shoutout to the ski ball machine). Close enough to everything by a short drive but far away enough to feel like a private vacation. We would 100% return.
