This place was awesome! The house itself was beautiful, and the construction was well done. There were no quirks with the electricity or plumbing, unlike other places we’ve stayed in Costa Rica. The pictures don’t lie, this place was stunning. I am a birdwatcher, and I was amazed to see two kinds eating fruit from the tree 20 feet from the house. There were other beautiful birds, ranging from hummingbirds to trogons, that could be seen around the clock. There were surprisingly no mosquitoes when we visited in early March, but there were huge katydids and grasshoppers flying about, so if you are squeamish about nature, this isn’t the place for you. If you don’t have access to a four-wheel-drive vehicle, it isn’t a place for you either. This is a secluded house, and the dirt road is fairly steep. The nearby town of Dominical was clean, safe, and fun. Lots of restaurant choices, a microbrewery, and tours. The check in process was easy, and Pam was great to work with. No complaints, I hope to come back sometime.
