Muskoka River Retreat is a contemporary boutique cottage that was personally designed and constructed with sustainable methods on the crystal clear waters of the Muskoka river. The cottage is full of modern amenities and supplies for any amazing four season getaway . The clean granite waterfront has all day southern sun exposure that includes two docks, canoes, kayak, sauna, outdoor fire pit, and cut fire wood that all ready for your use. You will want for nothing. Biking, hiking, fishing, are all at at the doorstep. Only 2:15 minutes from Toronto . Bracebridge is only 15 minutes away, where you can shop and dine to your heart's content. Muskoka River Retreat is owned and operated by Generation Seven, an indigenous small business. The perfect getaway

We had amazing experience. The house and property are fantastic , our family enjoyed every minute of our stay. Hosts gave very clear instructions and house was well equipped and clean. Firing up the Sauna was easy and plunging in the river right after was delightful!

Cottage-mode getaway

Great spot for someone looking for a private waterfront getaway with lots of options for outdoor activities (biking, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, sauna, bonfires) and close enough access to small town Bracebridge with it's quaint downtown and unique shops. Our host was very hospitable and made us feel welcomed and even had a welcome basket waiting for us at arrival! The home was beautiful and very clean and had all the amenities we needed for the week. We were able to relax and enjoyed our week-long getaway. Would highly recommend!!!

Magical Snow Escape

As always, this property is wonderful, particularly in the wintertime! There is lots to do outdoors in the surrounding area. The hosts even provided some treats for Valentines Day, which was very thoughtful! We look forward to returning again!

Beautifully setup, a gorgeous property!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean & beautiful, had gorgeous landscape & was close to all amenities. Setup was well thought of, everything needed was provided including firewood for a cozy fireplace. First class experience all the way through and also an amazing & resoonsive host. Thank you Greg! Our daughter had a blast and enjoyed her ski camp! Our dog was in heaven. There was great privacy as well. We highly recommend it & definitely love to come back.

It was a lifelong dream for me to have a cottage. I bought this piece of land and worked at it over 5 years. I built the sauna and the dock first and lived in a prospector tent. When Covid hit, I took the opportunity to build the cottage full time. We are truly looking forward to sharing our dream and love of nature with you.
