Located in the heart of Avellanas Beach and a half-mile from the shoreline, this dog-friendly villa at The Point is your ticket to beachside paradise. Inspired by nature, the interior design is light and bright with vibrant tropical color pops and floor-to-ceiling windows that add abundant natural light. A three-seat center island anchors the well-equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances. Gather in the open living and dining area, beautifully appointed with a stylish sofa set, TV, and six-seat wood table. Stay cool at night with the partial AC in both bedrooms, and sip morning coffee on the furnished patio overlooking the lush landscape.

The gated community of The Point offers exclusive access to a swimming pool, a yoga deck, and a children's playground as well as over two acres of a protected area with walking trails. There’s food and a convenience store near the gated entrance, while a local beachfront restaurant is within easy walking distance. You’re also located approximately 11 miles from fun beach cities like Tamarindo and Langosta.

Great Location

Everything is close, the beach, and there is a local supermarket in front of the property but you can find what you need. We loved it!

Great design and location but a little light on maintenance

This gated property contains 2-BR houses with terrific air conditioning, solid kitchen (albeit short on sharp knives, wine glasses, and measuring cups/spoons), TVs in every room, beautifully maintained landscaping, and a glorious central 25-meter pool for dipping. The house is also very close to a great bar food restaurant (great cocktails!) across the street that provides entertainment through the monkeys living in the trees above. A few things to be aware of: there's a construction zone just outside the circle of homes that produces some noise, as well as nearly daily short-term outages of electricity or water. They've got rain shower fixtures that are blocked up with lime from the hard water so the water pressure flow is uneven, and in the case of the master bedroom, has burst at the seams, while the waterfall delivery is better than none, it's only a matter of time before it falls off completely. Other concerns include the bath faucet that burst out of the wall when my husband pressed down the button to send water to the shower. The good news is that Vacasa provides a dedicated contact to deal with all of it, and he was very responsive and dealt with issues promptly. As far as the furniture, think Walmart in terms of quality, comfort, and stability. Also not a lot of variation in the pillows, so if you don't like sleeping on a thick, dense and unyielding pillow, I might suggest you bring your own. All in all, we might be back, assuming the maintenance stabilizes and they do a slight upgrade to the furniture (everything's pretty low quality).

Amazing Place!!!

Best Place Ever!!! If you like comfort and silence this is the right place to relax, The beach is beautiful and the house is perfectly equipped to enjoy, we had the best vacation time and we really enjoyed it a lot, and the best thing is that it is pet friendly!!!
