Family of 4 with an 8 and 10 year old.
1. The view is incredible. You are overlooking a lightly trafficked high end golf course with an incredible panorama view of the ocean, with whales, brilliant sunsets, and views of Molokai and Lanai.
2. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spa tub, kitchen, living room, washer/dryer, high end TVs with most streaming platforms, and a large porch with day bed and dinning table. I almost didn't book due to a photo that makes the shower look dirty, its not and the photo is capturing some coloring in the tile the wrong way. They aren't 5 star, but they are certainly clean. Its the perfect size mix for relaxing breaks, eating in meals at times between various Hawaii excursions.
3. The management company was responsive within minutes to questions, even on a weekend.
4. There are some inflatable tubes, a boogy board, and sand toys with a hose to wash off any sand before getting in the house.
5. The location has a lot around. Its a long walk to black rock, but do-able within reason. We later found there is a public beach with ample parking just down the hill near the Westin Kaanapali (Not the Westin Maui) that cuts this walk in half and makes it the same walking distance as from the whalers village parking, but its free.
In a nutshell, this was absolutely perfect for our family's 12 day stay.
I am out of space to type more but planned another 10 paragraphs of good things
