Designed for group gatherings, the home features multiple living spaces including front and back decks off the main floor and private balconies from the primary and second guest rooms. A breezy, covered patio and lounge area can be found underneath it.

Devoted to shared living, the main floor interior features an open-concept layout and cheery, modern decor. The living room offers an array of plush seating and a wall-mounted smart TV for everything from casual downtime to family movie nights. The full kitchen boasts updated counters and cabinets, with all major appliances included for easy at-home mealtimes. A tidy breakfast counter offers seating while the dining table can accommodate more guests. Enjoy calming sea breezes and partial ocean views from either the decks - perfect for morning coffee or evening happy hour.

While the beach is just an easy stroll away, there are miles of coastline for you to explore. Take a drive along Bluewater Highway to any number of scenic beaches, parks, and overlooks, or make it a day trip out to Galveston. For a taste of the local flavor, Surfside Beach offers a ton of great seafood restaurants.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Wonderful!!

We spent spring break here and absolutely loved it! Awesome proximity to the beach, super cute beachy decor all throughout the house, comfy beds, loved having four decks, good sized kitchen and living room areas! I’d come back for sure!

Amazing Stay!

Twin Palms was perfect for our family vacation! The home was neat and clean upon arrival and the instructions for check-in/out were convenient and easy to follow. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to make full meals for 10 guests. The linens were clean and beds were comfortable. We appreciated the items available to ensure our stay was pleasant such as beach towels and toys, laundry detergent, and cleaning products. We will absolutely consider Twin Palms for future beach visits!

Twin Palms Stay

I wish I had nothing but good things to say about Twin Palms. I really try to leave good reviews when I can. We were so excited about our stay at the beach house stay! I'm not really the type to complain. But we were really disappointed. The house is cute and the bedrooms are decorated really well. There is plenty of outdoor seating options on each level. Unfortunately, the home needs some attention. The main issue was the kitchen, the AC and the mosquitos. Thankfully I didn't do any cooking or preparing of food while we stayed at the beach house. I came with everything prepared ahead of time since we were having a sweet 16 birthday party, and I wanted to be as prepared as possible. There are labels on all the cabinets, but there is hardly anything in the cabinets. I'm not sure if people have walked away with items, but when you're advertising a rental for 10 people, you need to have a decent amount of dishes, glasses, coffee cups, cooking utensils, cooking gadgets etc. There was not a lot of any of these items. Most everything that I pulled out of the cabinets needed to be rinsed or washed. The drawers in the fridge weren't clean. There were food crumbs in both drawers and the drawers aren't on a slide/rail to slide in and out. They are just sitting in the fridge. The furniture in the living area is a little worn. I can totally understand having a leather couch in a rental because it's easy to clean. But the couch has seen better days and the leather is starting to peel. The blankets that were in one of the baskets in the living room smelled like either dirty feet or a dog had used them. There were definitely NOT cleaned before we arrived. Finally, the AC. The home is outfitted with Nest thermostats. It's great because you can adjust the AC when you're away from the home. FANTASTIC! BUT if you're staying at the home and the AC keeps being adjusted to 75, and you're on the top floor, and your room is extremely warm from the sun hitting it, the LAST thing you want is to have the AC continue to readjust to 75 when you're hot! We had a crowd of people, (there were 10 of us) 8 teenagers!! With a crowd of people and 100 degree weather, you usually need to have the AC set a little lower to accommodate. Every time we set it to 70 to cool it down, we would come back to the thermostat reading 75. One of the bedrooms was warmer than the other, so naturally we felt the temperature change almost immediately. One more thing, if you plan to stay here, BRING BUG SPRAY! We were SWARMED by mosquitos as soon as we arrived. My daughter is extremely allergic to them so we had her stay inside while we onloaded the cars. My friend was being bitten up something fierce. I called the mgmt company, and they told me they would ask the city to spray. I believe the city sent a truck out over night, because the mosquitos weren't as bad the next day. BUT just bring spray just to be safe, because it was NO JOKE-even the neighbors were complaining when we arrived. I can say that I may look for another rental with a different rental company next time. It's unfortunate because rentals from VRBO or Airbnb are becoming more and more expensive with all the fees, and this is why I decided to use Vacasa. Sad to say, I'm not sure they'll have my business again.
