Pass on this property. Look elsewhere.
This property was very well appointed for our family as we were two couples and a teenager. The duration of our trip was for two nights. The date of our arrival the upstairs bathroom was full of drain fly larvae. These are small black worms. They were on the walls and all over the shower floor. Also there was a shower squeegee left in the corner of the shower full of bugs. We reached out to the contact by phone in the welcome packet. We were informed to send a picture and they will let us know next steps. We heard back from the contact the next day in the late afternoon by text message informing us to wash the larvae down the drain as they are not harmless. This was unacceptable to us. I think they forgot that this is a "Vacation Rental Property" and we were on vacation. A cleaning fee is paid for a reason. Everyone was inconvenienced for every night of our stay as we had to use the shower downstairs. The purpose of our stay here is that we liked the layout of the Jack and Jill restroom to share with our son upstairs and my In-laws could have their own restroom downstairs. The company did send a welcome email me the next morning after our initial call but no mention of the bathroom and it's condition. There was never a mention in the two emails about the bathroom and it's condition. Once we received the short message to wash the worms down the drain, we knew that this was very unprofessional and would leave our review to let others know about our experience here.

Nice stay near attractions
Had a great time! Hosts were very responsive, check-in process was fast and easy, neighborhood was very nice, short driving distances to attractions, loved the balcony on the second floor (it was very peaceful), and we even saw an armadillo in the front yard during our stay. Would stay again.

Memorial day weekend
The house was nicely furnished with comfortable beds. Close enough to old town St Augustine but without the traffic. Made for a great holiday weekend at the beach.

Perfect for families!
The house was super clean and perfect for our family of 6. There were tvs in every room which our children thoroughly enjoyed. We were able to walk downtown (may be too long of a distance for some but it was perfect for our family). It is conveniently located in walking distance to a lovely coffee shop which we went to each morning. I was in need of getting ahold of the owner for a minor issue. Within 5 minutes of contact, he had emailed, texted, and then called to make sure we were good. I appreciated the responsiveness!
