Wouldn’t recommend.

Unfortunately I’ve never had any issues with VRBO and my stays using this site however, my stay in Dallas was quite different. Upon, arriving I could not find the entrance or access to the apartment listing. After a 4 hour flight and a very long day roaming the city I was beyond exhausted. I just wanted to get checked in and get some sleep. I contacted the host, tried calling them and they gave me the automatic text of “Sorry I’m busy right now”. That should have been a red flag. But I’ve flown all the way from Pennsylvania and was determined not to have my trip ruined by the host not being responsive at my time of need to get myself in the building for the night. Finally she wrote me with some very poor directions on how to get into the building and the unit. There came a point where I even asked residents who lived there if they could help me out. When I did get to the apartment the door handle was hanging off, seemingly broken, but worked. Again, I was just too exhausted and wanted to get situated. Finally I got in and was embraced by the smell of weed. The place reeked of it, I had to open the doors to air out the unit. Also, it was very hot in the apartment so I tried to use the air conditioner and it didn’t work. The apt. pictures must’ve be a before the unit was trashed look. They falsified amenities listed, and the apt can only realistically sleep two people. The bed shown under the stairs is just a blanket in a space I wouldn’t even let kids stay. Bad experience.

Okay for 2 people

The listing said sleeps 5, there was only bedding for 2 or 3 so my teens kind of made do. The towels were still wet and left in the dryer so we had to run it to have towels for showers for everyone. The location and amenities were really cool but the lack of necessities made it a little bit of a rocky experience.

Awesome Apartment

Little getaway to Dallas was very cool and fun. Took teen daughter and friend to a concert. They loved the apartment. The swing is a great addition and adds a ton of fun! The little sleeping nook under the stairs was perfect for the girls. Had a few hiccups with the door at check-in and never got to park in our reserved parking spot as it was always taken by different apartment residents. Only two flaws every thing else was lovely!
