Far from great.
The decks were all in rough shape and most of them had little to no furniture to sit and relax on the decks as well. The gate for the pool area was literally falling apart. It was noted in a review from that the light above the stove was not working and vacasa commented that they would take care of it however…. The light above the stove is still out which made it very dark when cooking on the stove. The kitchen had a decent amount of cookware and utensils, however, the 2 small cookie sheets that were available had rust spots on them and most of the pots didn’t have lids. Outside were a lot of random (many broken) beach toys, chairs, and such located in a giant, mangled pile in the outdoor shower and there were lots of random toys (including a Barbie, random balls, etc) as well as trash underneath and around the house. The hot tub never worked. We put in a request for it to be fixed and I was told over the phone it would be looked at and that if it wasn’t fixed that we would be credited some money back. Neither of those happened. The hot tub not working was a terrible disappointment but the lack of any communication from Vrbo was worse. We picked up 43 sand spurs out of the carpet in the 2nd master suite on our 1st day. There was a layer of dust on the blinds and the lampshades. The PlayStation had no power cord and couldn’t be played. I suggest finding another vacation spot and maybe looking into rental companies that actually take care of problems.

Nice house but needs maintaining - Big no for Vacasa
The pool and hot tub were great. When we arrived there were several cleanliness and lack of tidiness issues. I cleaned up two dead cockroaches on carpet, there were beer cans and a small trash can in the front yard, pool toys and chairs were laying around property and also in the pool. There was food left in the oven. The light for the stove top was burnt out, one of the toilets wouldn't flush and three out of the four bathroom door knobs wouldn't lock. The pool and hot tub needed cleaning. There were numerous damages that I reported just to ensure we didn't get blamed: Around 12 cracked kitchen floor tiles, carpet torn at bathroom transition, wall damage in one bedroom, one rotten deck board on second floor. I put in work orders with housekeeping and maintainence. Someone from Vacasa text me asking for details and pictures which I immediately sent. That unidentified person text back that someone would be in touch. No one except pool cleaning person ever showed up and I never heard from anyone. Very disappointing.

Passing Winds Vacation
We absolutely loved the house for its cleanliness and location. It was a great getaway for an extended weekend on the Outer Banks during the off-season.

Wonderful Beach getaway
The property was clean and just as advertised. The pool was nice for days when the beach had rough surf or on/off rain. Also, good to work with our young grandchildren on learning to swim.
