LIVING AREA

Excellent experience at Wild Dunes

This property was located in a superb area. Very close to the Links clubhouse and on the quiet end of Wild Dunes.

Needs A LOT of improvement

My family and I have stayed at multiple properties in Wild Dunes for many years and have only had excellent experiences. Unfortunately, we raved to our friends about it, so we booked this condo in hopes of it being great for a getaway. IT. WAS. NOT! Upon arrival, the condo was HOT, speaking to management we were told they could bring us fans. We don’t want fans, we need proper AC. The wall unit stated to not set unit under 70. It was well above 70 and 85 plus outside. Vents in doorway were DISGUSTING! After calling management, they asked for me to measure the vent so they could come replace it. Wait, what, I’m on vacation! The cabinets were painted haphazardly and looked so horrible. Paint was chipped off every door, marks and dents all over every single wall, chairs upstairs had major peeling on upholstery, upstairs bedroom is unusable to sleep unless you like to sweat throughout the night, dirt and stains on the floors, wooden floors in places were lifting and we’d get our shoes hung in them, mirrors hung so crooked it was almost comical, and I could go on. PLEASE save your money or spend a little more and stay somewhere nice. This place is almost a dump. I’m extremely embarrassed I brought a friend here.

Cleanish, badly in need of updates.

Everything was clean. Carpets are all stained and badly need replaced. Bedding had stains. Towels had stains.

Great fit for golf

Unit was a great fit for what we needed. Condo is a 1-2 min walk from the Links clubhouse, so perfect for a golf getaway. No pool access and a bit of a walk to the beach, but that wasn't the intent of this trip. We were also unable to figure out the TV and didn't see any info on how to operate them (seem to have firesticks that you log into with your own accounts), but we didn't have much downtime and didn't need TV. Very clean, washer/dryer worked great and AC was cold. I would rent it again.
