The Roost - Brand New Private Suite with Hot Tub

The Roost is An Animal Filled Oasis in a brand new Suite with a private hot tub.
TCF is a 2.5 acre hobby farm. All the animals are friendly and love interacting with guests.
We have graduated from our Aussies and three chickens to include a Donkey, sheep, goats, Llamas, a goose and a pet pig!
Our space is 15 minutes South of central Powell River. We offer a modern, stylish suite with a private patio, hot tub, and BBQ! Our yard backs onto some of the most popular biking and hiking trails in Powell River; the Duck Lake trail system is a well-known mountain biking paradise!
We provide privacy and comfort in our brand-new suite. You will have exclusive access to the driveway, and keyless entry to access the space. We provide a comfortable queen-sized bed, fresh towels and linens, and all the bathroom amenities you may need; if you require more of anything at all, just ask! The kitchen is stocked with farm fresh eggs, coffee, and tea for our guests to enjoy, as well as a patio barbeque. The suite also has Shaw cable and a Bluetooth soundbar.

Bring your bikes or rent them from Sun Coast Cycle! Some of BC’s most popular mountain biking trails can be accessed from our backyard! We are also located close to some of Powell River’s most popular swimming spots, like the sandy oceanside Donkersley Beach, or the fresh water of Eagle River. For those interested in hiking, we are a short drive away from the many access points of the Sunshine Coast Trail.

Secluded, soothing, and sublime!

Like being in the countryside but just a few minutes to town, this was an amazing place. Stop your car well back of the gate and then go swing it open towards you. Then drive slow and have a great look around. You might see a donkey, a pony, a pig, a goose or a whole bunch more. Follow the sign and drive around the building to lots of parking space. Check in, get set and you just might see a surprise in the fridge, then go enjoy the hot tub. Ahhhh... We had a starry, starry night, a great sleep, and then woke up to the sights. A horse, a llama, another horse, more pigs; it was awesome. We will definitely be back and looking forward to spending more time with the local residents.

Pet therapy

Very peaceful and the animals are gentle, quiet- mostly!- and fun We enjoyed a night on the deck used the bbq and hot tub. Kitchen has everything. Comfy bed with nice sheets and the robes are fabulous. !Felt like we had the place to ourselves, but the hosts were around to answer questions. Great food at nearby The Old Pho restaurant.

Revive and Relaxation Getaway

Cozy and comfortable room and a hot tub as an added bonus. The animals were full of personalities I won't soon forget. The central location allowed me to explore the surrounding trails and sights. We had an excellent time.

What a cute little farm. Hubby and I were on a quick anniversary get away. Little kitchen studio with a hot tub. First impression when I got out of the car was "awe" - greeted by Zoe the donkey. She stole the show along with the goose - they were the loudest. Overall I would go back, owners were easy to get ahold of and answered all questions. Down side was the corners of the bed, got me every time. That and the weather wasn't in our favor. Was glad to get away, feed some farm animals and check out parts of Powell River that we have never seen or knew off. Check out the Information center - she was a wealth of information. We hope to be back when the weather is better.

It was an amazing experience. The accommodations were modern, clean, and comfortable. The critters at the farm were relaxing and entertaining to watch and interact with.
