Getting Around:
🚨‼️ 4WD is REQUIRED in the winter months, from November to April. NO exceptions! Please do not attempt to make it in 2WD with chains. We are at 8,500 feet on the top of a mountain. The roads could be 'clear' upon your arrival and a 2-foot storm can roll in overnight. You need to be prepared with 4WD ‼️🚨

You will have ample parking for you and your guests. We do have a parking spot for trailers, but we do not allow guests to camp in RVs outside. Guests are permitted to stay INSIDE of the property only. Maximum occupancy is 14 guests, no exceptions.

Other Things to Note:
We highly recommend that you complete your grocery shopping before driving up the mountain, as there are very limited options for groceries on the mountain. The hardware store has a small grocery selection in case you forget any odds and ends, but we would not recommend relying on this for your entire trip. There are restaurants in The Village and their hours vary depending upon the season. 🛒🍔

We allow house-trained, well-behaved dogs in our home. 75-pound weight limit. 2 small dogs totaling 75 pounds OR one large dog not to exceed 75 pounds. Dogs ONLY. No cats, fish, lizards, snakes, mini horses, pigs, etc. - sorry! 🐶

We do not stock firewood for the fire pit outside. We do stock propane for the grill.

Grandma and Grandpa seemed most awesome
The location is amazing, quiet off of a cul de sac. The fire pit is perfect. This house has everything. The game room is a child’s and grandpa’s delight! We could definitely see using this for all the family. The separation of bedrooms gives lots of privacy for everyone.

Great experience at a great property
The property was perfect for our trip. We needed a place that was at altitude and close to Bryce Canyon and Zions National Parks. The property met all our needs. Our kids really enjoyed the game room and having a TV in each bedroom. The house contained everything we needed for our trip and the location in Duck Creek Village was great. We would definitely look at renting this property again in the future.

Fall Break Getaway
This was an awesome cabin for a family getaway for fall break. The kids enjoyed the games, and there was ample room for the adults and kids. Location was excellent for day trips to Bryce Canyon and hikes near Kanab. Great experience!

The best getaway.
Everyone enjoyed their stay at this cabin. We were a family of 11 and this place exceeded our expectation. If we ever go on another cabin trip, this is the one.

About the host

Hosted by Nick Helm

Host profile image
We are the Helms and we are Las Vegas born and raised. Nick spent a lot of his childhood in Duck Creek Village with his dad and godfather. They spent most of their days fishing, ATVing, and doing what boys do best, getting muddy and dusty. Years and years later and all grown up, Nick brought me up to the mountain to show me the beauty of everything and I instantly fell in love! Coming from a state where the seasons never seem to change, Duck Creek was such an amazing breath of fresh air. We love enjoying the outdoors riding our ATVS, roasting s’mores, or just kicking back with our dogs. Thank you for your interest in our property. We know you’ll love it just as much as we do!
