Inside the home, natural wood beams provide classic mountain charm while a stunning blue carpet compliments the blue hues of the lake out the window of the main living room. Kick up your feet and enjoy the lake breeze from the open windows or watch your favorite show on the flatscreen T.V. Cozy up on the plush couches and beat the chill of winter nights in front of the stone fireplace. The open concept kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and provides plenty of cooking space with an attached island. Beautiful wooden cabinets are stocked with all of the basic necessities you need while a large double sink makes clean up easy. Barstool seating for 3 can be found at the island while additional seating for 4 is provided at the glass dining table. Enjoy your morning coffee from the coffee bar which provides a standard coffee pot and mugs.
When you’re ready for some fresh air, head outside to the main deck which can be accessed through a door in the living room. Gaze out at the most spectacular view of Big Bear Lake. Crystal clear water and distant forest lines look like it was pulled straight from a painting. Relax and unwind and enjoy your dinner with a view at the table with seating for 4.
When it’s time to settle down for the night, head upstairs where you’ll find 2 bedrooms and 2 more additional decks. The first bedroom provides a queen-size bed and a flatscreen T.V. A charming window nook gives you the perfect space to read a book while still enjoying views of the surrounding landscape. The second bedroom you’ll find is the master which includes a king-size bed. Another coffee bar is conveniently set up next to a seating area, giving you easy access to your morning coffee from the comfort of your room. Access to your own private deck can be found through a set of sliding glass doors. The attached master bathroom provides double vanity sinks and a shower/tub combo. The third bedroom gives you two side-by-side twin beds and access to a back deck. A porch swing is perfectly positioned to give you amazing views of the lake while you enjoy the flawless Big Bear weather. The back deck opens up to a pine-covered hill, giving you a great opportunity to explore nature without leaving the home!
An additional seating room can be found inside with two seats, a flatscreen t.v and foosball table. The perfect room to let the little ones unwind and watch movies. A washer and dryer is also provided behind a set of accordion doors in case the need should arise.
Note: The driveway is very steep and during the winter can be extremely challenging. Booking this home between November 1st and April 1st will require guests to drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Please make sure the driveway is safe to exit and remember to use salt to melt the ice and snow. If it has snowed recently or during your stay do not attempt to use the driveway without a 4 wheel drive vehicle and be prepared to use chains. Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.
Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations:
Please dispose off your trash in the green dumpster located in Destination Big Bear's parking lot, near the east entrance. The address is: 713, Stocker Road, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315.
Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.
Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.
