Great Property - Some issues

The hosts were amazing as well as the property managers. I have some suggestions. There was something dead in the house - smelled bad - maybe some traps could be placed. Woodpecker lives on the porch and pecks at the house at 6 AM. Furniture on that end was unusable as it was covered in bird droppings. Perhaps a good scrubbing before people get there and some kind of sonar to keep the birds off the porch. The property needs some updating - light bulbs missing, lots of lights out in the kitchen.These are just friendly suggestions. The cabin could be super awesome and we did enjoy our stay, but I just wanted the host to know about what we encountered for the next guest. The property managers did everything in their power to help us out, brought more light bulbs and such and very nice. Loved the stay but just needs a little TLC and maybe a better cleaning person. Had fun and it was a beautiful setting.

Clean, Cozy and Well Stocked

The cabin was great for our family Christmas get away. It has a well-stocked kitchen with everything we needed to make meals. The double ovens came in handy for our a Christmas feast. Rachel, the property manager was so wonderful to keep us updated on weather/ rode conditions and reviewed what we could expect in the cabin. She was so helpful and accommodating…provided us with an extra table for seating our big family and getting us a crockpot to use. She had plenty of wood stacked and ready and we kept the fire going. There was plenty of parking for our five vehicles. One of the master bedrooms was really cold with no way to adjust the heat. But other than that, it was a wonderful place. We were very pleased.
