The Windsong Retreat is a special place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life while exploring and experiencing the incredible majesty of Minnesota's North Shore.

You'll love the home for its dramatic views of Lake Superior, for the stunning sunrises, for abundant sunlight that pours in through large windows, for comfortable furnishings that invite rest, and for light, cheerful decor that lifts the spirit.

The home features three bedrooms, two on the upper level and one on the main level. The upper level master bedroom offers dramatic panoramic views of Lake Superior. It has a sitting area with swivel chairs that can be turned to enjoy the lake view, or spun around to watch TV. There is also a coffee bar with a Keurig coffee maker, private bath with heated floors and walk-in shower.

The upper level guest bedroom has a queen bed and private en-suite bath with walk-in shower. The main level bedroom has two twin beds and a walk-through bath with a tub/shower combo.

The North Shore of Lake Superior is one of the most scenic regions in the entire Midwest. In a stretch of MN-61 from just north of Two Harbors, MN and running to the Canadian border, a distance of 110 miles, there are no less than 8 Minnesota state parks. Of the 5 most visited state parks in Minnesota, 3 of them are located within 10 miles of The Windsong Retreat.

Great place to stay

We stayed there for our (the wife and I and another couple) first time last year. We liked it so much and were so happy with the property that we decided to stay there again. It is well appointed and very comfortable.

Beautiful home for a fall getaway!

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The condo/townhouse is just steps away from Lake Superior. The view from the master bedroom is spectacular! The home is so clean, bright and comfortable. The location is perfect for heading south to Two Harbors or north to Grand Marais. The MN state parks are just amazing--great trails for hiking and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend!!

beautiful outdoor retreat

the vrbo was large, clean, and in a stunning location. we went to tettegouche state park the morning after we arrived, and the location was so convenient. being able to see the lake out the windows was really special, and we even moseyed down to the lake, though it was swarming with bugs (as is expected). we also used the fabulous amenities—the pool and sauna—without being disturbed. the entire experience was quite tranquil! i hope to visit again sometime. the only thing that threw me off was that the exterior was being painted unbenknownst to us, so when we arrived that night, many of the unit's window's were covered (to protect from the paint). by the end of our second day, though, that was gone, and we were able to enjoy the porch and views.

Girls weekend

Beautiful place and very well taken care of. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen well stocked, we loved our stay! Only thing we could had used was a washer and dryer, but that was my fault for not paying attention in the description. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
