ATTENTION PLEASE READ HORRIBLE HOST!!

ATTENTION Attention: Before booking this, make sure to read The host never replied to any messages from a week prior to the day of no response. When arriving at Rockypoint late in the evening, I called the number on the Vrbo, which is a third-party manager, Carolina. Carolina told us she would try to get a hold of the property owner, and after time had passed, we had to get a hold of her, and she stated that the owner did not give her the code so we could stay there. She said she had some properties we could stay at, but they were nowhere near the one we booked. Then we called Vrbo customer service, which was another headache to deal with. They told us to go book a room that they would reimburse me for, but I had to find one, which, mind you, was a holiday weekend, and everything was booked. Then I was advised that the Vrbo rebook team was going to call me back. I ended up finding a room at about 11 p.m., finally with my infant child burned out from the day of not resting in a bed. The next day, I called customer service for Vrbo, and they did not help at all. Carolina had a couple homes for rent for the two other days. We were desperate to find a place to stay since it was a busy weekend, so we went to the other house. Carolina had a different person show us the house. The house was dirty with dead cockroaches. The beds, sheets, and room had pests and mice feces on them. Be aware of Carolina dont do business with her. Also Vrbo is horrible no help you are left on your own.

What stay,i have went to hotel, at hotel i am was told that they never get any reservations made on my name .I have contact vrbo ask for refund, they send me to property manger who have no idea what happened and now they are asking how was my stay, but no word about refund.

Great location

Our stay was OK. The location is great. You can walk to the beach and it’s about a 10 minute drive to anywhere you want to go. Communication with the host wasn’t great but she was helpful when we did get a hold of her. Overall the room was everything we needed nothing more nothing less. We had a comfortable stay. Beds were very comfortable and we slept well.

Nos hospedamos en casa bonita, la ubicación y la recámara que nos toco estaba perfecta. Las 2 habitaciones y sala están a la vista de mar. La playa está 5 minutos caminando. El malecón donde esta toda la comida está a 20 minutes del resort que estuvo muy bien. Recomendamos desayunar y comer en el restaurante the cowboy Jr, estaba muy rico todo!!

Can’t rate this room

When I got to the resort owner said we couldn’t stay in that room because the people before broke too many things. She said she had 2 other rooms but in different hotels. We ended up in Playa Azul 30 min from everything! This place is still under construction! Room had no wifi! And no cable for the tvs. Also no curtains in the living room no privacy at all! No A/C in the master bedroom!! Owner did give us an extra night for free, but we didn’t use it my wife and kids already wanted to go home
