Enjoy the best of the Forgotten Coast at this spacious and attractive West Gulf Beaches vacation home. Our Anchor has plenty of room for your group to spread out and relax. This property features an amazing island location close to everything from amazing white sandy beaches to St. George Lighthouse Museum and the multi-use path connecting the island.

The exterior of this property features under-house concrete parking and an outdoor shower with hot water.

Inside features a delightful living area with a TV and daybed. Just beyond the living room is a covered porch for relaxing and enjoying the nature outside. Attached to the living area is a dining area. Around the corner you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs with an additional dining area and breakfast bar with counter seating.

The Gulf Beaches neighborhood of the island is very popular among vacation guests and close to island shops and restaurants, the multi-use path that connects the entire island, and just 20 minutes from Apalachicola’s shops, restaurants, and arts scene. The oldest neighborhood on the island, Gulf Beaches has an “Old Florida” feel that keeps families and friends returning year after year.

A blast

As someone in college my friends and I really needed a break from class and this house was great to help ease our minds. The property was clean, the check in process was very simple, and the budget was just what we were looking for. It was also a very short walk to the beach and because we stayed here we were given a gift card to use for beach gear so we got a wagon which made carrying stuff to the beach very simple. Overall great trip.

St Feorge is awesome. The yard and back deck and porch were very private. The house is older and is being ‘fixed up’ bit by bit.

Charming but

The screened in back porch was nice. Wifi worked, bed and bedding were comfortable. Outdoor shower was nice. Had a grill that we used twice. The place is spacious but very outdated. Especially the kitchen. Every dish we pulled out of the cabinet we had to wash because they had dried food/drink in them. No ice maker in the fridge. Front porch is rotting, my husbands foot went though the decking when we was walking around on it. For the location and quality it’s very over priced. We had friends that paid the same price for a house closer to the beach and up to date. The price needs to be lowered or they need to update the house.
