Convenient for PCC visit

We were in town for a visit to PCC and soccer/volleyball tourney with my family and our friend's family. I don't typically pick houses that are new and have no reviews, but it was close to the school and the price was right. I think overall our stay was great and we would stay a again. Here are my comments. The good: The proximity to PCC was excellent, perfect for going back and forth between the college and home. The inside of the house was clean, well decorate and stocked with everything we needed. The three bathrooms, with two bedrooms having private bathrooms were great for our two-family party. The AC worked great! Checkin and check were very easy! The bad: The VRBO description could be a little more informative about what amenities are available...I had to confirm there was 4 bedrooms. The curb appeal of the house needs lots of work. When we first pulled up I was a little concerned about what the house would be like, luckily the inside was much better than the outside. The street the house is on is kind of busy and was hard to get out of at times...a little scary especially with teenage drivers. The host communication needs to improve. I had to ask for the checkin and check out instructions. During our stay there was a problem with the plumbing and the toilets wouldn't work. The host did not keep us well informed of the status of the fix as it wasn't fixed till the next day and I had to ask to get status update.
