Since most of the trails are covered in snow during the winter, this is a great opportunity to try a new hobby: snowshoeing! Tours and day snowshoe adventures are available throughout the winter. These tours take you to alpine lakes, where you’ll gaze at majestic snow-covered peaks in the distance. Appropriate gear, snowshoes, snacks and an expert guide are all provided. Snowshoes are also available for rental in Boulder, Estes Park, and Grand Lake.
