Just ok- read this review before you book!

While this property was very nice on the description and photos, the initial welcome and experience was not as we had hoped. First, we got multiple emails from the host with wrong address and entrance codes for check in. Once part of our group arrived, they were nervous because another family was already there- the listing didn’t show or mention that this rental has a lock off apartment-type dwelling- NOTE TO RENTERS: you will not have the whole house to yourself since this is more of a villa style home with a shared wall and locked door. If we had known , we would not have booked. There is no mention of this in the listing. Customer service at vrbo was terrible trying to remedy this for us so thankfully it got cleared up when the property manager/owner showed up. Vrbo only told us to leave a bad review of the host as a recourse. Ridiculous advice for customer service. The host offered to give us a refund but the group would have been without a place to stay last minute as they were already on site. Vrbo could not relocate the group last minute . Didn’t really have a choice and stayed anyway- it was an ok stay but the start of the trip was stressful. The pool was quite nice in back. Bedrooms were nice and clean. The listing says 2 BATHrooms but in actuality, it was one bath and one half-bath. So for a listing with a capacity for 10 people, it has only one shower to share. Plus, there were ants in the bathroom. Listing needs better descriptions overall.
