Rural house ( WiFi ), eco-pool, 4 pers., BBQ, 1.5Km from Pollensa

We choose this villa as we love Pollensa and the listing looked ideal for a young family.

On arrival we were met by the owners parents who made us feel very welcome.

Unlike many villas the property was actually much better than the photos.

Modern and well maintained with an amazing outside space and probably the nicest villa pool I have ever been in.

We couldn’t fault it and were happy to spend our days in the pool and our evenings on the terrace.

To make the most of your stay you’ll need a car. We thought about waking into Pollensa which is less than 1km away, but due to the heat and the busy main road we always drove, which was no inconvenience as there was ample free parking on Pollensa.

Definitely one to recommend and we can’t wait to come back.

Lovely property, great pool in a beautiful setting! Car required given the busy road into town but definitely recommended! Joana’s parents were great and we loved the apricots and oranges from the orchard.

Myself and my husband are staying here for a week and are loving the farmhouse. It has everything you want, it is very well equipped and has some lovely touches, it looks new or recently refurbished. It's ideal for one or two couples, nice and private, the pool is lovely, it's a perfect place to escape to the sun and enjoy a relaxing holiday. You do get a bit of road noise as it's about 100m from the road but there is a lot of vegetation and beautiful gardens so you don't really notice it. You could walk into Pollenca as it's about a half a mile or so away but you have to walk along the main road and there is no footpath once you have turned off, so we took the car. Restaurants are plentiful and some have 3 courses for 15euro, so very good but you do have to search for them. The BBQ area is excellent and there is ping pong for some fun. I will be recommending this to our friends and family and we hope to return again. I'm writing this review sitting under their porch as they have WiFi, which is excellent for us.

This is a gem of a holiday house, we have just spent a January week here to escape the snow in the UK and it really exceeded all of our expectations. Unlike other holiday houses we have rented out of season it was very well appointed, spotlessly clean and extremely warm, cosy and comfortable. The house is cleverly designed, not only is it very attractive it really makes the most of the space and was far more spacious than we were expecting. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner has absolutely everything you need (we made very good use of the wood burner during our stay). The outside terrace, pool and BBQ area is stunning and whilst we could not make much use of it during this trip in the summer you would not move far from here. Both bedrooms are a good size as are the two bathrooms and four people could easily share this house without feeling on top of each other. A January week in Pollenca is a different experience to the summer but it's much warmer than the UK and when the sun does come out it's possible to enjoy a coffee outside. Many of the restaurants close during the winter months but there is still enough open if you don't want to cook in (and everything in the house if you do). We absolutely loved this house and have already made plans to return in the summer to enjoy the pool and outside space.

We stayed at this beautiful villa for two weeks - it was fantastic. All correspondence with the owner was dealt withi in a prompt and efficient manner. The villa was spotless and exactly as described in the particularls. We were met by the owners who showed us round and told us how to get to the supermarkets and about the great market in Pollensa Old Town on Sundays. We were given clean towels twice a week and the beds were changed for us half way through the holiday. We were also left fresh eggs some mornings - the chickens are very entertaining and we also had a couple of escapees to deal with - sure it was the same ones all the time! The villa is a short drive from the old town and about 10-15 minutes from Pollensa - I agree that the road is not very safe for walking along especially at night. There are plenty of restaurants in the old town and we tended to eat there most evenings. The villa is well equipped and had everything you could need for a family holiday. The pool is lovely - no horrible chlorine smell to deal with. We were sad to leave and would definitely stay here again.
