2 MASTER Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms (Sleeps 4)
We were vacationing in Maggie Valley for years and then purchased our own home. We then decided that we would love to share our home to others so that they may experience the same joy that we do each and every time we go to Maggie.
Kathy purchased this Cabin in 1998
Why Kathy chose Maggie Valley
Maggie is 25 minutes from Asheville and Cherokee, has many things to do in the surrounding area and is a quiet town.
What makes this Cabin unique
We have an awesome view of the valley you won't forget. The cabin is a quiet get away from the busy city life.

Our Favorite Home Away from Home
We have stayed at Lauria View several times over the years, and loved it every time. It is the perfect quiet little spot on top of a mountain with BEAUTIFUL views that make you feel on top of the world! We just got back from celebrating our 25 Year Wedding Anniversary at Lauria View all last week, and even DOUBLE enjoyed it this time around, due to all the new renovations! Everything was perfect to make for an Anniversary to remember forever!
Absolutely stunning views of Maggie Valley from the deck. Cozy, clean cottage!
The Cabin is situated high above Maggie Valley looks down on the town and the twinkling lights at night and the untouched adjacent mountain tops. Even though we came to the area to see the Fireflies and hike in the National Park the view from the back deck made us just want to stay on rocking chair and read a book and enjoy the view and the breeze all day instead.
The cabin interior is clean and simply appointed with everything we needed to make our stay perfect. I has the right mix of necessary items but not too many personal items that make it feel like in somebody else's house. We fixed steaks and burgers on the grill for dinner and would have liked to have sat by the fire circle if we hadn't been so worn out from hiking.
We DEFINITELY recommend this property to anyone interested in a get-away to the Smokey's or Maggie Valley to see the Elk. The drive to the cabin is on paved roads at the top of a development but the cabin itself is fairly secluded with one neighbor within eyesight. The road is steep and would be best with 4-wheel drive in the winter but that's also what makes it so private year-round.
Great time, great property. great price, great response time, great privacy, great information, directions and security! Thanks for a Great Get-Away!
Spectacular view, quiet, safe, very special
I had an amazing two week stay with my little four legged companion. The local area is packed with things to do and see. That is, if you can tear yourself away from the cabin and its beautiful deck, overlooking the mountains and Maggie Valley. The elevation allowed me to look down on birds flying, tiny cars on the main road, and clouds forming and rising from the valleys. I witnessed what the Smokies are named for. This is a very special place. The trees in front are kept trimmed so your view is unobstructed. The owner was immediately available for any needs or questions. Thank-you for sharing this beautiful place.
Wonderful but too short!
Light bulb out in master bath and towel racks still needed. Light over front door also out. Direct TV much too complicated with so many dials. Otherwise great
Fantastic view of the Blue Ridge
This is a perfect spot to get away from it all. The house is nicely furnished, very clean, and kitchen and all other areas are well equipped. Beautiful back deck to take in the view. Drive up the mountain is paved all the way. Steep, but that’s what has to be expected if you want this kind of view. We had no trouble in our 4 cylinder SUV. The homeowner is easily contacted, and answers all questions promptly.
Great little cabin with a view!
Enjoyed our stay in this cabin. Had everything we needed. Great deck area with a view! A hidden little secret up on the mountain. Would totally recommend this place to others.
