Great little studio close to town

Lovely little apartment about 5 min walk into town. With ski boots on around 10 min from pleney and slightly less to the super morzine .. easier still if hire a locker at pleney can do this when buy your ski passes online... which is a cheaper option too. Apartment comes with hob, microwave , raclette machine, fridge, tv, clock radio alarm, vacuum, hairdryer, some cards and games and coffee maker. A mini soap, shampoo and shower gel provided and we hired sheets, towels etc..Very easy check in with someone there to meet us on arrival we exchanged emails (me using google translate) to arrange time of arrival and just notified as we left geneva so it went really smoothly. Lockable ski and snowboard cupboard in the garage where u can also play ping pong if you travel with the bats! Sunny balcony in the morning was lovely. Sofa in lounge makes a comfy double bed and 2 min job to pop it back to a sofa in the morning... still enough room if you dont bother though. Kitchen has a little table that seats two comfortably. Retractable door through to the bunk beds and bathroom. Plenty of hot water for a bath... it's just a hand held shower attachment but its plenty powerful for an ok shower. 2 min walk from bec Jaune which is a nice apres bar and rotonde and chaudanne restaurants are v close. Supermarket down bottom of the hill (via back entrance). parking with the apartment too. Vouchers left in apt for 30% off ski hire but we found it cheaper to hire online before we arrived.

TRES BONNE LOCATION

Studio pouvant convenir à un couple avec 2 enfants (les nôtres ont 6 et 2 ans) sans problèmes grâce aux lits superposés dans l'entrée, idéalement situé car proche du centre ville de Morzine et d'un supermarché (pas besoin de prendre la voiture). Location propre et bien entretenue, salle de bain avec baignoire (pratique pour les enfants) et grand balcon avec une belle vue sur Morzine et les montagnes. A recommander ! Concernant les activités, nous sommes arrivés sous la pluie et n'avons pas hésités à nous éloigner au bord du lac Léman (environ 45 min) pour visiter Thonon, Evian et Yvoire (magnifique village médiéval). A Morzine même, la télécabine du Pléney offre une belle vue sur le Mont Blanc et on peut redescendre à pied (environ 1h30 tout en descente), bcp d'autres ballades à faire : lac de Montriond et la cascade d'argent (joli et facile), lac des mines d'or et les alpages (superbe mais plus difficile avec des enfants), ne pas oublier le fameux village des chèvres aux Lindarets, et enfin Avoriaz (pour la vue et le bon air). On a également apprécié la visite de la fruitière (fabrique artisanale de fromages) commentée par le fromager les mercredis et jeudis à 9h.
