1 km from the natural lake of Saint-Point, the cottage is located in the heart of the small village of Montperreux, and it is above all the calm of the places that will surprise you!
Many walks are possible in the large spruce forests located a few tens of meters on foot and the trail around the lake and its 23 kms is waiting for you! Mountain biking and cross-country ski trails are accessible on foot from the gîte.
It is located 12 km from Mont d'Or (1463 meters) and from the Métabief resort which will allow you to practice alpine skiing. 12 kms also separates it from the town of Pontarlier and its numerous shops. Visit to cheese factories, distilleries, a bell foundry, are possible nearby.
Close to Switzerland, you can enter via Vallorbe (20 kms), Les Verrières de Joux (15 kms) or Auberson (15 kms). Once in Switzerland, you can climb and admire superb views of the Alps, go cross-country skiing ... or descend in a few kilometers to the bottom of the valleys and completely change the climate!
On the French side, you can visit the sites of the Château de Joux (5 kms), the superb rugged relief on the edge of the Jura plateau without forgetting its waterfalls (Nans-Sous-Sainte Anne, Hérisson waterfalls, Baumes les Messieurs, Gorges de la Langouette ...)
In Besançon, the Citadel and its zoo await you, as well as its Resistance museum. Still in the region: the Vallorbe caves, the Poudrey chasm, the Osselle cave, the dino-zoo, the polar dog park.
A week will not be enough to visit everything!
Swimming, canoeing, windsurfing, wind-surfing, diving ... await you on the lake in summer and huge ice rink
natural in winter ... when the lake freezes completely.
Welcome to Haut-Doubs ...
