Esposende! very pretty little seaside town, with its passadiços (Footbridges) which runs along the sea and leads to the caminhos (path) of St Jaques de Compostelle. that's wonderful.

Picturesque location, seaside, comfortable villa, balcony, large terrace, barbecue. pergola of vines, where the barbecue is installed, the garden is magnificent, it is a peaceful haven, this villa is relaxing due to its geographical location. Located 30Km from Guimaraes Medieval City where Portugal was born, this region is rich in History and very beautiful, the town of Ponte de Lima medieval city, a marvel! Braga, Porto, the large Barcelos market, the largest in the Pais, the natural park of Gérez, a wonder of nature!

Lovely property with a few surprises

House is in an unusual neighborhood and was very difficult to find because hand-drawn maps were hard to understand and were in French. Owners are absentee landlords living in France and did not communicate on WhatsApp, as I requested. Tried by email, but owner always used French, not my language! No soap, shampoo, napkins, paper towels, condiments, coffee or tea provided. That being said, place was very clean, spacious (could easily handle 6 people) and beautiful, a few km from beautiful beach. Good staging position to visit Braga, Barcelo and Aveiro, all well worth seeing.

Uma Bonita Casa Portugesa

We stayed one week in Vila Lucilia and enjoyed it very much. The vila has everything you need and has a very nice garden with a slendid picknick-area under a wine tree. The road to the vila is narrow, curvy and with cobblestones, so you have to drive very cautious. In this part of Marinhas (Esposende) are no shops in walking distance, so you need a car (to go to the beach as well). You can park your car on the grounds of the vila. We stayed on the ground floor of the vila . The first floor can only be reached by a staircase. The lady who takes care of the house (the sister of the lady-owner) is very friendly and helpfull. She only speaks Portugese but understands a little Spanish. A little knowledge of the Portugese language is advisable. Places like Porto, Viana do Castelo, Braga, Barcelos and more are close by for a visit. There is a super market (Mini Precio) when you enter Esposende, coming from the vila, and a Euromarche at the north of Esposende.

Vacances d'été 2011 inoubliables

Idéalement située (5 minutes en voiture de la station balnéaire d'Esposende), cette location de vacances offre à la fois le calme, l'agrément et l'espace nécessaires à une famille pour passer des vacances inoubliables: vue sur l'océan, jardin fleuri, nombreux commerces (y compris 2 supermarchés) à proximité, grandes plages de sable à Esposende... Sans oublier un accueil chaleureux de la famille des propriétaires. Bref: n'hésitez pas !!!

Agréabe séjour,maison très agréable,propre et parfaitement équipée.Village calme et authentique.Jardin bien fleuri et bien entretenu et très reposant.Belle région a visiter.Vu sur l'océan qui est tout proche,promenade sport nautique.Très bon souvenirs de vacances.
