Great Stay!
We are a family of three who stayed in the apartment for two weeks at the end of May. We have stayed in Bormes two other times before. The apartment is very well located to walk around and sightsee throughout the small, but very picturesque, town. The apartment is located up the hill so there are some steps to walk to get back from the town. The views from the outside of the apartment are amazing. You can see the Mediterranean Sea from the cute outside dining area at the apartment. The owners Danielle and Jean-Pierre live in the apartment right above. When they are out on their balcony they will be willing to give you plenty of great places to visit to sightsee and to dine at. They are very welcoming. The apartment itself is well equipped with items to cook a meal for the family. There are two bedrooms with doors. The master and other bedroom opens up to the gardens or outside sitting area. The master bedroom has a standard European bed so if you are use to a pillow top bed this one will be a bit stiff. The other bedroom has what they call a Click clack bed which really is a futon bed. There is also another click clack bed in the living area. So another person could sleep on that one. There is only one bathroom with a tub and a hand held shower head, typical of an old French bathroom. There is also a clothes washer and a long clothes line outside. The kitchen is good to prepare small meals. The refrigerator is a good size and it also has a dishwasher. They do provide soap for the dishwasher and for hand washing dishes so that was nice. Also they do have kitchen towels and a sponge to clean the dishes. For our family this was the perfect spot for our stay. We really appreciated the hospitality of Danielle and Jean-Pierre and hope to return one day.
