Obsessed with spotlessness and thoughtful attention to detail, the apartment is always deep cleaned throughout prior to letting. One of the amazing things about Chelsea is the dining and I eat out on a deliciously regular basis, so please do check out my online handbook here for my personal favourites! The best hosts were friendly and welcoming but without bothering me during my stay. They did make it very clear that were there something wrong they would have done what they could to assist. I endeavour to emulate that style myself so please enjoy your stay.

Why Niki chose Kensington and Chelsea
After visiting friends in Chelsea and watching "Made in Chelsea" on the television, I longed to live there so as soon as it was possible I found the perfect penthouse studio right at the very top (most quiet) of the building which has the best views in the entire building in my opinion. This apartment was my main residence for a year before I married and we return as often as our busy schedules permit, subject to other bookings of course! We love the area for eating out and being right on top of the place where we had our first date - Gaucho - it will always be a very special place for us.
What makes this Apartment unique
Being on the top floor it is of course not only the most peaceful (thanks also to the magic of double glazing), but it has the best views during the day which are replaced by a dazzling view of London at night. It is an incredible place to stay on New Year's eve when the fireworks are going off all over London and from here you have ringside seats to The London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Harrods and so much more.

Enchanting!
We loved the location - easy walk to the tube, grocery stores, shopping and Hyde Park with the V and A, Albert Hall, Kensington Garden and Palace, Serpentine Gallery, Princess Diana Memorial... so easy to get around! The view was spectacular from the 9th floor of the building! We walked from The Tate Modern back to the flat - it was a gorgeous sunny day - perfect! The flat itself was easy to adjust to for just the 2 of us. Certainly wouldn't recommend 3 people - or tall people as the bed is on the short side - but very comfortable and warm - and the kitchen is easy to work in - we didnt even turn on the TV there is so much to do in the area... would love to come back!

Totally enjoyed the privacy and view of the apartment in Chelsea. Exactly as described, amenities all worked, and host provided thoughtful touches like charging cables and converter plugs. I felt safe and comfortable which is really important to me when traveling alone.
All you need to bring to Chelsea is a sense of adventure and some plastic to go shopping with!

Great studio apartment, amazing view!
Very impressed with this studio. Very good nights sleep , no noise at all coming up from the street. Great wide view out the window as soon as you walk in ! It’s a very light apartment with a well kitted out small kitchen area. Everything you need, and more, is here.
I would definatly choose this apartment to stay in central London again , short walk from the tube . We had a lovely meal at an Italian round the corner and Chelsea Common is only 5 minutes walk away where we had breakfast in a lovely little deli. The studio was very clean and the booking in process very easy with instructions and directions sent regularly .
I would 100% stay here again, thankyou Niki for a great stay in your studio

Location was excellent the security was excellent , the owner was lovely.
We thought the place would be a little larger as indicated by the Internet pictures. But we were comfortable.
So glad you had a good time in the studio very clearly pictured on the listing.
To avoid any confusion a floor plan is included along with dimensions. Those looking for a larger space should avail themselves of those that are bigger.

This upscale mansion block of apartments on Sloane Avenue is right next to Gaucho bar/restaurant, where you will find the best Argentinian steak and the dangerously decadent cocktails!
Sloane Street and the King's Road offer dozens of designer and world famous shops including Harvey Nichols, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Gianni Versace, Prada, Jimmy Choo, Cartier - the list goes on and on.
Don't forget Harrods - just a 10 minute walk away.World famous museums such as The Natural History Museum, The Science Museum and The Victoria & Albert Museum are all within walking distance and Buckingham Palace just 3 stops away on the Piccadilly Line.
Stay on the Piccadilly line and you are just a few stops away from Leicester Square, Covent Garden and the West End offering you a world of entertainment, theatre, bars, clubs and restaurants.

Chelsea is an affluent area in central London, England, bounded to the south by the River Thames, where its frontage runs from Chelsea Bridge along the Chelsea Embankment, Cheyne Walk, Lots Road and Chelsea Harbour. Its eastern boundary was once defined by the River Westbourne, which is now in a pipe above Sloane Square tube station. The modern eastern boundary is Chelsea Bridge Road and the lower half of Sloane Street, including Sloane Square, along with parts of Belgravia. To the north and northwest, the area fades into Knightsbridge and South Kensington, but it is safe to say that the area north of King's Road as far northwest as Fulham Road is part of Chelsea.
The district is part of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. From 1900, and until the creation of Greater London in 1965, it formed the Metropolitan Borough of Chelsea in the County of London.
The exclusivity of Chelsea as a result of its high property prices has historically resulted in the term Sloane Ranger to be used to describe its residents. From 2011, Channel 4 has broadcast a reality television show called Made in Chelsea, documenting the "glitzy" lives of several young people living in Chelsea. Moreover, Chelsea is home to one of the largest communities of Americans living outside of the United States, with 6.53% of Chelsea-residents being born in the United States.
Chelsea Football Club is located on the border of neighbouring Fulham and Chelsea. As a result of Chelsea's expensive location and wealthy residents, Chelsea FC has the wealthiest supporters in England.Chelsea are the current UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League title holders, with its ground (Stamford Bridge) lying on the border between Chelsea and neighbouring Fulham. The club is owned by Russian billionaire and Chelsea-resident, Roman Abramovich.
The word Chelsea (also formerly Chelceth, Chelchith, or Chelsey) originates from the Old English term for "landing place [on the river] for chalk or limestone" (Cealc-hyð: chalk-wharf, in Anglo-Saxon). The first record of the Manor of Chelsea precedes the Domesday Book and records the fact that Thurstan, governor of the King's Palace during the reign of Edward the Confessor (phone number hidden)), gave the land to the Abbot and Convent of Westminster. Abbot Gervace subsequently assigned the manor to his mother, and it passed into private ownership. The modern-day Chelsea hosted the Synod of Chelsea in 787 AD. In the ancient records, it appears as Chelchith, which Norden, a writer of considerable note, derives from the Saxon words ceale or cele, meaning "coldness", and hyd, meaning "hythe", (landing-place, port or haven).
King Henry VIII acquired the manor of Chelsea from Lord Sandys in 1536; Chelsea Manor Street is still extant. Two of King Henry's wives, Catherine Parr and Anne of Cleves, lived in the Manor House; Princess Elizabeth – the future Queen Elizabeth I – resided there; and Thomas More lived more or less next door at Beaufort House. In 1609 James I established a theological college, "King James's College at Chelsey" on the site of the future Chelsea Royal Hospital, which Charles II founded in 1682.

By 1694, Chelsea – always a popular location for the wealthy, and once described as "a village of palaces" – had a population of 3,000. Even so, Chelsea remained rural and served London to the east as a market garden, a trade that continued until the 19th-century development boom which caused the final absorption of the district into the metropolis. The street crossing that was known as "Little Chelsea", Park Walk, linked Fulham Road to King's Road and continued to the Thames and local ferry down Lover's Lane, renamed "Milmans Street" in the 18th century.

King's Road, named for Charles II, recalls the King's private road from St James's Palace to Fulham, which was maintained until the reign of George IV. One of the more important buildings in King's Road, the former Chelsea Town Hall - a fine neo-classical building - contains important frescos.
