About this property

Located at the edge of the village at 600m above sea level, the gîte is an old barn restored in the country style in stones and slates combining comfort and conviviality.

Facing the Mont Valier nature reserve, a veranda awaits you with its lounge area to relax and its dining area (table 4 people) to eat while enjoying the view of the mountains, even on bad weather days.
We will have the pleasure of welcoming you and advising you on the hikes to do from the cottage on marked trails accessible to all (starting point for many family walks), but also on the routes of long hikes to the summits of Couserans , Valier, Crabère, Maubeture, ..

The price includes: WOOD for the insert, ELECTRICITY for heating, TOURIST TAX.
Satellite TV + DVD player with various films.
During the very high and high season, rentals are by the week from Saturday 4 p.m. to Saturday 10 a.m. It is possible to adjust the arrival and departure times according to the occupation of the gite the rest of the year while taking into account the time necessary to make the gite cleaner and more welcoming.

great hideaway in the heart of the Pyrenees mountains

Marlene's cottage was originally an old barn for cows, and beautifully converted. It is a great place to stay for a week or longer as it is easy to access and has all amenities anyone can need. Marlene is a great host, and always available for assistance.

Impeccable!

Mme Marlene Gence is a superb hostess and a charming person, for whom nothing is too much trouble; her sole aim is to give you the best possible holiday. She is always available to answer any questions guests might have about the region, but she is not at all intrusive. On arrival, guests are welcomed with a present of the delicious local cheese. The gite is very well equipped, very clean and very comfortable; the view from the terrace and the verandah is stunning. We are already planning a return trip next year.

Excellent séjour

Le gîte est très agréable et bien équipé, la literie est confortable et une mention spéciale pour la méridienne de la véranda 😊. Marlène est accueillante, pleine d’attentions et de bons conseils. La région est tout simplement magnifique et les spécialités (fromage, charcuteries, glaces) délicieuses. Beaucoup de randonnées accessibles à moins de 30mn de voiture.
