Another Great Experience
I've previously stayed at two other Parisian rentals owned & managed by Patricia & Vincent, and vacationing at this property made for an equally pleasurable experience. It is just off Place d'Italie on a quiet side street, yet extremely convenient to Metro & shopping. It is located on the ground floor, with natural light coming in through a front window toward the street and a back window to the small courtyard. So, NO STAIRS! Handy if you don't like schlepping luggage or prefer to do your daily quotient of stair climbing at sightseeing destinations. The fold down bed was comfortable, and the WIFI, TV, & table radio worked well. There was a great shower with plenty of hot water, vanity sink area, and a separate water closet. There was also an efficient washing machine which allowed me to travel light; I dried clothing on rack placed adjacent to heat. The kitchen was great; I roasted chicken, duck, veal, lamb, and made ravioli for various evening meals. In the mornings, after running out to one of various close-by boulangeries, I made my coffee. And I gave the corkscrew plenty of work to stave off the ever-present threat of dehydration. As before, Patricia & Vincent couldn't have been easier or more professional to communicate with. As my schedule was tight on my last morning, I took the modest 30 euro cleaning option. Another great visit: Fluctuat Nec Mergitur!
Convenient and quiet apartment
This flat was in a location convenient to several metro lines, with cafes and shops a block away or less, yet it was very quiet for sleeping. The murphy bed was comfortable. The kitchen facilities were nice with a full sized table to sit at. The washing machine was also very convenient.
Good location and everything you need
Washing machine, dishwasher, hair dryer. Small but we made it work for two adults and two kids. All the essentials in the kitchen. Responsive owners. Overall a very positive experience.
Comfortable and convenient
The apartment is well situated, safe, close to busy Place d’Italie but very quiet, handy to transport, shops, cafés, a regular open market, and pretty streets to explore. It is well appointed (kitchen and bathroom) and clean. The pull-down bed is difficult for older persons. There is a good sofa bed. Vincent and Patricia were welcoming and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Mirrors are not sufficient and purposely deceptive they give a false impression of space
Black mold in the bathroom a trap door leading to an awful basement for an ironing board. This is ridiculous. Patricia was very cooperative for dates of arrival and Vincent eager to get the two extra days of rent.
Great location!
Quiet street. Comfortable bed and all essentials.. The best part was being close to the metro and busses as well as to the Italie II shopping center with a huge Carrefour supermarket. I appreciated being on the ground floor and not having to carry my suitcase upstairs. I would be happy to stay here again.

Located close to place d'Italie, the Butte-aux-Cailles area, whose character worthy of postcards contrasts with neighborhood buildings, has a lot of cafés and restaurants which make it particularly appreciated by Parisians. Its 2 main streets, Butte-aux-Cailles street and Cinq-Diamants street fill up every evening by a crowd of students and young people.
