About this property

Hot tub, Wi Fi, Pets OK on the canal nice view of reservoir year round-

. We require our paperwork to be taken care of before access codes are given. Created for the young, the wise and your 4 legged family this little gem with a fully fenced yard is sure to please. The yard out front beckons on warm summer days for a game of croquet or bad-mitten after a day of water sports. Winter is filled with puzzles, books, Disney classics or play dress up from a closet full of goodies.

There is fishing year round with a speed limit on boats, with the reservoir opening up through the summer for jet ski's, water skiing etc. Please note that Pine Hollow reservoir is used for irrigation and water levels will drop somewhere mid-July leaving all docks on dry land. You can still enjoy the reservoir just without a dock. Due to insurance requirements security cameras are on site.

The adults can relax after a long day on decks overlooking the reservoir or jump into the hot tub. This area is generally known for more sunny days being on the Eastern side of Mt Hood. This greatly increases the beautiful days for hiking, cycling or just getting out of the Valley rain. Based 45 minutes from Gov camp after the roads clear or 1 hour aprox during winter Isn't it time you discover this little known area so close to Portland? The Deschutes river and rec area is a mere 20 min away offering exquisite white water rafting and steel head fishing. The Mt Hood National forest area is Minutes away, offering ATV trails, hiking, cycling, snowmobiling in winter. The Dalles (30 min) offers wine touring and many biking or hiking trails. During the summer a back road can get you to the Ski Bowl adventure park (45 min) where you can zip line, bungee, Malibu racetrack or do the Alpine slide. On this side of the Mt there are awesome clear lakes to visit as well. Prefer to be on the Sandy river on the cooler side of Mt Hood, ask us about our Dragonfly Cove rental on the Sandy river. VRBO 718688 NOTE-. Cancellations are subject to merchant and processing fees as well as any VRBO fees. We require our contract and hot tub policies to be signed and returned- this is your responsibility- no paperwork- no access codes Please read house rules before booking.

Beautiful Home Nestled in the Woods !
Finally a break from the daily work life gave our family a way to rest relax and enjoy the surroundings of the beautiful Pacific Northwest ! I would highly recommend this property to anyone ! The home is amazing and we had such a wonderful time as well on the lake fishing and catching fish ! This home is somewhere I would return again and again ! Everything you ever need in a vacation home right here in a small community that many don’t know about. My first visit is not my last and I so appreciate the prompt communication from the owner and Karen ! You too will find that 5 days is not enough time to reset your life if busy work flow ! I thank you for an amazing time and memories my family and I will cherish forever! Tammy Blackburn

We love the NW! As we are getting closer to retirement we decided to unleash our creative side by venturing into vacation rentals. Dennis owns a MFG plant in Athena Oregon and Laura has been a stay at home Mom. With 10 years doing and opening a dog rescue our goal is to be pet friendly- as they are family too! We are working on our newest project Dragonfly cove, situated on the Sandy River in Rhododendron. VRBO listing 718688

Why they chose this property

We went looking for a Lake to enjoy water sports and fell in love.
Loving the outdoors we simply fell in love with the charm of the yard more then anything else. We wanted High desert Sunshine and found it here.

What makes this property unique

All year uniqueness and beauty in the seasons. Sit in the hot tub and watch a squirrel dance, an Eagle dive or a herd of deer pass through the back yard. Try your hand at ice fishing in the winter. Spring is gorgeous with flowering bulbs and the reservoir at full capacity- crisp nights and warm days. Well what can I say! we love it and hope you do to.
