Better than the pictures
Everything about the house was lovely. It was clean, well organized, spacious and full of light. We had a great stay and didn’t want for anything other than an ice cream scoop. I appreciated the clear directions for everything from the wifi to the hot tub. The house was even better than the pictures.
Best 50th ever
Great place to stay. Lots of room. Well furnished. Nice open floor plan. Easy access to the beach.
House was great. Bedroom TV's not working. Otherwise all was well.
Family trip to Lincoln City
As a family of 6, all vacations and adventures have their share of ups and downs. Our stay at the Green Turtle was no different.
Beautiful house with plenty of space to spread out and host a large family.
Washer & Dryer (because it doesn’t matter how many times you tell them, don’t go deeper than your knees, they’re going to go deeper than their knees.)
Great amenities- we used & appreciated the grill & hot tub, toaster, microwave, coffee pot & side by side fridge, blu ray player and of course the highlight of this house according to our kiddos-the media room with wii & seated arcade console.
I did not receive the emailed door code information, but that was quickly remedied with a call to Tanya who then sent the link via text. Only a slight hiccup, and very promptly addressed.
Master Bathroom: toothpaste residue and hair in sinks. Hair in shower drain, partially used soap left in shower.
Master Bedroom: loose leaf notebook paper with writing on the floor/under nightstand.
Screens missing from windows: one in master & one in upper media room that we noticed.
Only 2 working jets on the hot tub and the display is cracked so it’s hard to see how to use the controls. Maybe all 4 jets do work but we weren’t able to see how to change the settings.
Both propane tanks were empty, kind of a bummer when we wanted to grill our first evening meal. The Shell station said they didn’t have enough attendants and turned us away, the other gas station (Quick Stop?) asked if Shell sent us. Apparently it happens frequently.
Not enough toilet paper in the house on arrival. Out of 4 bathrooms there were 2 full rolls and all others had partial rolls, probably 1/4 or less remaining. I’ve never had to purchase toilet paper for a rental house before.
Bed frame in one of the bedrooms is wired together. How did we discover this? My mom layed down on that side and the mattress dropped about a foot.
This house has everything needed for a great family vacation, it’s just a bummer that we experienced multiple things that could benefit from a bit of attention. We are a one income family and have to be very purposeful with our money to make significant trips like this possible. I was disappointed that the conditions of this beautiful home didn’t match my expectations.
We had a very comfortable stay at the Green Turtle. Plenty of room for three families including children! The upstairs game room/additional sleeping area was a bit hit with the kids. And the hot tub is a nice bonus too.
Great Family Vacation!
We really loved this home and its proximity to the beach. If you are a parent make sure to check the games on the pac-man table. I never did go look, but my adult children said there was a play-boy game on it. Just be aware, might be nothing. Everything we needed was there, except a 9x13 pan, so if you have a birthday cake to make, just know that.
We loved sleeping with the windows open, listening to the ocean and feeling the breeze. It was hard to get use to sleeping without that when we got home.
We would definitely stay at the Green Turtle again.
