Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3.! All of the units are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. 4.! Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. 5.! Only use appliances for their intended uses. 6.! PETS are permitted only with prior approval and the Pet Addendum must be completed. 7.! Parking: PARKING – Parking is limited to ____2___ vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. 8.! Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit linens to be taken from the units. 9.Fireplace: KEEP OPERATION OF THE FIREPLACES TO A MINIMUM. The fireplaces are there for your enjoyment, which means do not leave them burning if you're not there to enjoy them. Do not attempt to throw paper or any combustible materials into the fireplaces. Do not burn garbage in the fireplaces. 10.Storms: No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions.

This home has been thoughtfully remodeled. Custom & Modern, yet retaining that Magical Lake Tahoe Charm! The Brookside Chalet lives up to its name, situated alongside an enchanting creek in the forest surrounded by impressive and large pines. When we bought the property, we knew right away from the wall of windows that look down onto the creek that this was the home for us! Our young girls and their friends love to play near (and, sometimes in it) in the Summer (when the water is warmer and safe) and in the adjacent forest with rock "forts" and a rope swing over the running creek. Collecting sticks and pinecones seems to be the latest rage with the kids and grandmas alike... Kids or no kids, we think you'll see and appreciate the level & amount of TLC we've put into our little Mountain Gem!

The main reason we fell in love with this house, is the beautiful creek located near the back deck of the house, proximity to hiking and biking trails, ski resorts and of course, The Lake. The home also features a large, warm fireplace with comfortable seating. Guests will appreciate the modern, yet rustic feel of the home with brand new everything!
