About Debby McMorran
Frank and Debby McMorran - we split our time between Belfast in beautiful Northern Ireland and our little house in Pont Royal. Despite the beauty of Northern Ireland the climate can be predictably awful with a lot of rain and we found ourselves craving the sunshine and outdoor way of life. We had been lucky enough to rent a beautiful villa in Pont Royal which belongs to friends of ours and after spending a number of summers and weekend breaks there as a family we discovered that a new development was being built. We took the plunge and signed for Mas 15, Le Hameau des Trois Collines in September 2006 when all we had to go on was a building site and plans - we are delighted with the end result and in the last couple of years have been lucky enough to enjoy prolonged stays in Pont Royal, although we still offer guests the chance to stay in July and August - many of whom return year after year which is lovely.
Debby McMorran purchased this Villa in 2008
Why Debby McMorran chose Mallemort
We love the accessibility that the location of Pont Royal gives us - so many beautiful places to visit in this part of Provence from the little hilltop villages of the Luberon to the wonderful walks in Les Alpilles, fantastic local markets and vineyards and pretty seaside towns and the wonderful wild Camargue. We always discover more wonderful places with each visit. As Pont Royal is a gated Domaine we have peace of mind that our property is secure while we are away - we also have a wonderful bilingual House Manager, Karen, who is available at all times for our guests should they need help or advice with anything during their stay.
What makes this Villa unique
Access to two beautiful pools for the exclusive use of residents and guest of Le Hameau des Trois Collines, pretty private garden with lovely views - the house is tucked away in a quiet part of the beautiful Domaine of Pont Royal but is only a 15 minute stroll from the main village with shops, restaurants and a lovely wine bar/deli. During peak times there is nightly entertainment in the main square and plenty of activities for all ages. Guests can also purchase passes for the wave pool, rock pool and water slides in the main village. Ideally situated for those who want to explore all that this region has to offer.

Debby is an exceptional host, she provided a lot of wonderful information about the area. We followed her suggestions and had a great time. The villa was just right for us. It was in impeccable shape. Despite the heat we were able to stay cool.
Thank you so much - we are delighted you enjoyed your stay in our house. We love to share our favourite places with our guests and hear that they have enjoyed them too.
As a family with adult children we found this property perfect for our needs. It is very cool inside with very effective air conditioning (34 degrees outside) and the fixtures and fittings are well in excess of a normal holiday property. The pool really is only 15-20 yards from the front door and is mostly quiet - often we were the only people there. We found the situation of the house ideal, in that it is generally very quiet, yet is only a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of the site (the walk is a little hilly but is both up and down and short enough not to be problem) . The centre is a little more commercial, with a few restaurants (we found it advisable to book ahead), a wine bar (ideal for a bruschetta and a glass of wine) and a small shop, perfect for a nice walk to pick up the bread in the morning. Another bonus for us is the golf course -we had played it before, but had forgotten how challenging and very enjoyable it is. We found some very nice restaurants nearby - Le Repaire, the creperie in nearby Vernegues (15 mins by car), is a real winner and , of course, head up into the Luberon (Bonnieux, Lacoste) and the views are spectacular. This property has so much going for it (including being only 40 minutes from Marseille airport) it is hard to list everything but one of the real bonuses for us is the hosts themselves. Debby is a real pleasure to deal with, almost like dealing with an old friend rather than a business transaction. So, a massive thumbs up to Debby and Frank and for the "House in Pont Royal" . P.S. already booked again for next year!!
Thank you very much. We are delighted you enjoyed the house, the golf and exploring the area. We are so pleased you are returning and look forward to welcoming you back next year. Frank and Debby
Great house with shared pool in Provence
This accomodation is first class, clean, comfortable a real home from home. Good size bedrooms and a wonderful livingroom/kitchen. Everything you need and more with a private garden which gets the sun all day and pool a few steps away from the front door to cool down.
The resort is very quiet in the evening. Make sure you sit in the garden and look up at the stars. There are walks around the resort but a car is essential as it is too far to walk to the local villages. The area is picturesque and there are too many wonderful locations, villages and towns to mention. Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. The owners have a list of recommended places to visit, eat, drink - what else could you ask for in a holiday in France. Golfers will like this place I think
We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay in our house in Pont Royal. We also love to spend time in the garden stargazing! Debby and Frank
A lovely home in Provence
Just one or two thoughts as I look back on the wonderful few days I spent in your lovely home in Provence.
It was just so peaceful and comfortable and a perfect base from which to set out and explore the beautiful countryside around.
Having heard so many reports extolling the virtues of Pont Royal it was just so good to see for myself and prove the reports right.
I will very much look forward to another visit sometime.
We are delighted that our house and Pont Royal lived up to expectations and look forward to welcoming you back soon - Debby
Delightful stay at Pont Royal
We have had such a wonderful time, our only regret is not booking for longer!! Your lovely home has everything we could need, especially for Sarah, but with the addition of fab scenery & sunshine. The shade provided by the beautiful flowers & bushes in the garden meant Sarah could be the outdoor girl she always wants to be 😀 It was also great to haven Karen on hand to answer any questions.
Thank you so much Bernie - we are delighted that you had a happy holiday and that little Sarah's first holiday abroad was successful. We are very lucky to have Karen on hand for our guests - she has worked at Pont Royal for many many years and is an expert on the area and a great support to all our visitors. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Debby
Really beautiful property
Beautiful house in a great location. Perfectly placed to explore Provence. We spent a few days exploring and one day by the pool enjoying the amazing weather. We'll definitely be back and will recommend to friends.
So glad to hear you enjoyed your trip Dan - we look forward to welcoming you back soon - Frank & Debby

The domaine of Pont Royal and it's closest village, Mallemort, is located north of Marseille, between the historic cities of Aix-en-Provence and Avignon. Situated in the heart of Provence in the Bouches-du-Rhone in the South East of France, where the river flows into the Mediterranean - in this land between sea and mountains, the climate is wonderful for a visit at any time of the year.
The closest village is Mallemort with shops, banks, bars and restaurants. Large Intermarche supermarket - about 10 minutes by car. Within the domaine of Pont Royal you will find a small selection of shops, post office and tourist information. Local activities include zip wiring, hiking, cycling, canoeing, golf, horse riding, fishing, tennis.
