Hi I'm Robert and I am the Proud owner of this Absolutely Fabulous and well equipped Apartment on the 5* Vila Sol Golf Resort in Vilamoura. I would rather deal with my Guests directly than use an automated booking system that Owners Direct now insist on. I believe personality is a special touch however I have to abide with the ownerdirect terms and conditions or I will be banned from advertising my property with them:(

Back in 2008 My Wife and I spent two weeks searching the length and breadth of the Algarve looking for our dream holiday home in the Algarve and stumbled upon the apartment by Chance. As soon as we viewed it together with the estate agent we both instantly fell in love with the apartment and within 2 months the Apartment became our Home from Home in Portugal, the rest is history. If you are to visit our apartment we hope you will fall in love with it too and return each year as do many of our returning Guests.
What makes this Apartment unique
what are the unique benefits to our Apartment? well there are so many I don't quite know where to start!!! First of all I believe that our apartment is one of the best located apartments on the Village if not the best one, Ground floor positioning, South West Facing and only 30 Meters from the Apartment to main pool. The apartment is also treated and Kept to a extremely high standard by ourselves. As its our holiday home we look after it like we do with our home back in the UK. Each year I make a significant investment to the apartment, whether it be an upgrade on the appliances or furniture in the apartment or just decorating the rooms or treating and varnishing the outside furniture I am always trying to improve the experience and comfort of a visit to my Apartment. Finally the apartment is Central to Vilamoura, Vale Do Lobo and the other resorts in the Algarve and its only 20 minutes from the Airport. This make stopping at Vila Sol the perfect place to use as a base to discover the Algarve.

Stunning Apartment
The Apartment was large, modern and is in a nice complex. The terrace off the living room overlooks the lawn and the pools-great for lazing. The choice of pools were ideal for our Holiday. We hired a car and found that helpful to visit the beaches and while not essential we would recommend. Good location.

Coast/Beach:
Prestige comfort and tranquillity are the winning factors that make the Vila Sol experience unforgettable. The beaches at vilamoura and Quarteira which are a 5 minute drive away and are well worth the visit.
Travel:
Faro airport is a 20 minute drive to the resort and whilst car hire is recommended it isn’t essential as there is a good net work of public transport passing the resort and taxis are easy to get. The fare into Vilamoura marina or Quarteira is approximately €6-7 for four passengers and €10-12 for 6 Passengers via Uber . I can arrange transfers from the Airport to the Aprartment and return with a very reliable company which we personally use. This company more reliable than the local Taxis. Distances:
The resort is within a 5 minute drive of Vilamoura, famous for its beautiful marina set around an extensive choice of restaurants and shops; it also boasts an amazing nightlife with a choice of bars, nightclubs and a casino with spectacular nightly shows. The exclusive shopping and beaches of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are within a 15 minute drive. The beautiful market town of Loule is just a 10 minute drive where you can take in the sights of the local markets.

Each Wednesday Morning Quarteira holds the famous Algarve gypsy market in Fonte Santa where you can often find yourself a real bargain. The Aqua Park which boasts the largest wave pool in Europe is only minutes away whilst go carting is available in Almancil which is a 5 minute drive. Further away from the resort the town of Albufeira and the Zoomarine attraction is only a 30 minute drive and are worth a visit. A guide book will be in the apartment with information where you can eat and drink, and generally chill out and relax.
