About Janet bundey
I was a market trader selling underwear at various locations in London for 25 years. I decided that I was too old to work so hard and with the competition from Primark etc, it was becoming hard to earn a living. I decided to give up work, because I wanted to spend time with my mother. The villa is named after her (CY2030). She suffers from a degenerative illness, so I wanted to have quality time with her, while we could still do things. We had a great time in Cyprus getting the house together and was there for almost 7 weeks. I have precious memories of this time, which I hold very dear to me. At home in London, she lives next door to me and my partner Geoff, so we are very lucky!
Janet bundey purchased this Apartment in 2009

We liked the property very much, lots of space!
Our favorite thing was the amount of space. Plenty of room for 3 people. Pretty closeto subway, that was convenient. There were a few things we couldn’t figure out - the oven and the dehumidifier for instance. Took a few minutes to figure out how to turn on the shower and adjust the temperature. Some written instructions might be helpful (for us provincial Americans!).
Superb Experience
Fantastic time in London with tours around all the top tourist sites. Apartment was a real home from home with everything you need, a beautiful airy space and I particularly liked the rainfall shower.
Janet was a perfect host who answered all our questions and gave perfect advice on what to do and where to go
I cannot recommend this Apartment highly enough and would love to return as there is so much to do and see
Many thanks Janet for an amazing time

Not bad could have been better
There location is very good just little out of the way but still close enough to walk to everything. It was clean. Bathroom is a little small and as others have suggested in other reviews a shelve in the shower would have been nice. Plenty of hot water once you figure out the code to turn the shower itself on. Rain type of shower so very little pressure but thats the way its suppose to work.
The coffee machine in the kitchen needs to be replaced the replacement crafe does not reach the drip point of the machine so until we figured a way to put a spoon under the crafe cover to push it up the coffee spilled out all over the floor 2 days in a row.
On the directions to get to the Flat we where told to take the Southern route of the Northern line at the London Bridge Station - TAKE THE NORTHERN LINE NORTH to the Old Street Station. Also if you have any large luggage or any physical issues I would avoid taking the tube entirely as the Old Street Station only has stairs and dragging luggage up the stairs is tough to do.
The last night of our stay the electricity went out about 2 am in the morning. We were unable to get it going before we left, so we had to take showers and get ready to leave at the public bath across the street. We did get reimbursed for the cost of doing that though.
Sorry to hear it could have been better - my guest love to stay here. It is in a zone 1 location, which is central.
I would not describe the bathroom as small. The large shower does take up some room.. but as bathrooms go, it is a good size.
There is no code to operate the shower, so don’t understand that comment. It turns on with from the coloumn of the shower head.
The guest was reimbursed for the problem with the electric. This was an unforeseen problem, which was extraordinary.
Lovely apartment with great location.
We stayed here for a mix of business (nearby in the City) and a few days holiday. The apartment is on a quiet side street with good bus connections 2-5 minutes away and the Northern line at Old Street. There is a good sized Coop grocery store around the corner and a large Waitrose about 10 minutes walk.
Great location.
Nice sized accommodations. Good kitchen and bathroom. Flash hot water heater that worked very well. Being that the apt is on the ground floor, it was always humid and the air felt thick at times. Something funky going on with the electrical, however. Overheard LED lights that were installed as part of the latest remodel did not work but old style incandescents were placed to make up for it.
Glad you liked the size of the accommodation. The property is actually being rewired this week. The lights I had were just temporary... and I obviously forgot to tell you about it! So sorry about that.
Hope you come and stay again one day
Très bien !
Je préconise !
Glad you enjoyed your stay!
