About Mary Willoughby
British born, we have lived on the island for 12 years and absolutely love the atmosphere, the culture and most of all the summers sunshine & the fabulous beaches. We run our own business in the local area. We bought this place in 2017 and totally transformed it to a luxury standard. We live 5 minutes away from the property and therefore are on hand for our guests to personally greet them and also to give some useful information on things to do.

Why Mary Willoughby chose Calvià
The apartment is brand new as of 2018, being completely transformed and it has an enviable position on the beachfront in probably one of the most sought after complexes "The Wavehouse" in the area. There is a very large terrace which overlooks the sea and the beach is footsteps away as are the beautiful pools offered in the complex. There are some fabulous places to eat with several in the complex and the nearby Blackbeards Beach Bar is a favourite for me. You can do as much or as little as you want here. If you want an upmarket party vibe try Nikki Beach or Temple bar a short stroll away.

This stylish apartment offers a luxury base and there is a top range kitchen should you want to dine in, but with the option of many places to eat if you want to get out and about. Theres international TV for your entertainment and for me the view from the apartment says everything...

Great apartment in awesome location
We visited this property in Sept 19 and were thoroughly impressed. A very roomy, modern apartment with stunning views and everything you need to have a fab holiday. Mary and Darren were excellent, very flexible when we were delayed on arrival and helpful throughout our stay. 6 of us stayed in this apartment and there was plenty of room in the 3 spacious bedrooms. Beds very comfy too. Great restaurants and bars just a very, very short walk away. Would recommend to all. cheers

Fab apartment in great location
This apartment was perfect for us and our 4 boys.
Plenty of room and was just what we invisiged. The rooms were great and so was the living and eating area.
The view from the balcony is great too.
We would highly recommend to any group or friends or family.

This is a beautiful apartment in an amazing location. The apartment is spacious, beautifully designed and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The balcony is an extra room with amazing views of the beach !
Mary and Darren are great hosts and were on hand if needed and gave us any information that we required.
Shops and great restaurants are on the doorstep !
We now love Calvià beach and can’t wait to return .

Nice location in bustling Magaluf
Apartment is very nice, clean and well equipped . I specifically enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the afternoon with a drink looking at all the nice boats anchoring in the bay close by. It’s surprisingly quite in the evening even if the neighborhood is close to the “strip.”

Sparkly clean apartment beachfront, beautiful beach, lovely hosts
The apartment we have stayed in is conveniently located on a beautiful beach. It was lovely to have a breakfast on a roomy terrace with a sea view. The apartment is sparky clean, and very well equipped. Everything from air conditioning to washer machine works great, all needed dishes/utensils/supplies were available. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and balcony- all very nice and clean. Extra sheets, and towels available for use. There is also swimming pool, but we didn’t try it, as we really enjoyed local beach.
Right around the corner- Alexandra restaurant with the most amazing seafood we have tried, around 7 min away- Venezia de Luigi, with super delicious cheesecake.
Katmandu is a nice place to visit with kids, my head still spins just from looking at pictures, it’s only 5 minutes away.
Western Water park is also within walking distance.
We also rented a car, Palma is about 25 min away from the apartment. We have also tried other beaches and visited flea market.
Mary and Darren are wonderful hosts. They were very accommodating, from late check-in, as our flight was delayed, to assistance with luggage, parking spot, etc., also very nice and thorough with recommendations. Mary was always going above and beyond in every request or advice we have ever asked. We travel often, but they were the best hosts we ever had.
