About this property

Pleasant timber frame house that respects the environment. Its wood fiber insulation, solar hot water, double flow VMC ensures excellent thermal comfort in all seasons
The ground floor includes: WC, bathroom, large living room with a wood stove, the kitchen with storage room is fully fitted (dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, microwave ... ...).
It is open to the dining room and the living room.
It is equipped with a television, two sofas, sofa bed and BZ; its sliding partition allows it to be transformed into a bedroom.
Wi-Fi internet connection is available free of charge
Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with three single beds. A relaxation area on the landing with a bench seat. A bathroom with WC.

Lovely space, convenient to history

My husband and adult daughter stayed at the house and aside from the heatwave making it very hot, they loved it. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, and very convenient to all the historic beaches and museums.

Great location, nice people, too bad we couldn't stay longer!

Great location to visit the multiple D-Day places and museums. The food is amazing too, and we love the fresh market. And the owners are making the house a nice place to leave in. Thanks for making our short stay a memorable experience.

Magnificent home!

If you are looking for a vacation home near the Normandy beaches, look no further. This rental is a dream come true. It is impeccably clean, completely modern, spacious, and so comfortable. Our party consisted of four adults, and our stay could not have been more perfect because of this beautiful home. We would return in a heartbeat -- and next time we will plan to stay longer! Thank you to the wonderful owners!

Lovely!

This is a lovely house. It is perfectly located for sightseeing in the area. It is very well placed to visit the D Day landing beaches and museums. It also has the best equipped kitchen I have seen in a vacation rental with knives that will actually cut things! The weather was warm for November so we did not need to use the wood stove, but if we had there was certainly everything we needed there. The house is comfortably furnished, and well within walking distance of the center of the city and the market. The owners were lovely to work with and although they did not have a lot of English and we had even less French we communicated well enough. I definitely recommend this adorable house to anyone. It seemed very well equipped for families with children too. We would definitely return there ourselves if we get the chance. The market, which is on Mondays, is great. We bought beautiful veggies and apples, bread and cheese there. We found a larger supermarket on the outskirts of town and filled in our groceries there. We really enjoyed the area, Carentan, and this beautiful little house.
